Customers want what Apple will convince them they need. Wasnt that the whole idea behind Steve Jobs comeback in Apple? They are spreading way to thin now.Apple customers like options. Thus Apple provides options (at different price points) to their 1+ Billion active and repeat happy customers who have made Apple becoming one of the most successful consumer tech companies in the world. Simple.
Not sure it’s going to be ready by then, but Apple could preview that new rumored home platform as a “One More Thing” in October with a release in March 2026. That could easily be tacked on to the end of an iPad Pro presentation. Or it’ll just be a week of press releases every morning again. That was my assumption, too, but I was holding out hope since the Apple TV doesn't really fit with either product perfectly in a presentation
They are one of the largest companies on Earth and they manage fewer products than the gas station around the corner from my house. Few companies are going to be successful at every level of spend in 2025 with pared-down product offerings. Apple should be offering way more options, including a wider array of wearables and their own smart home offerings, too.Customers want what Apple will convince them they need. Lol, the Pro Max can last maybe 1 day and a half with regular use and you think a phone the size of a usb port is going to have great battery life?

Would it be nice to have longer battery life? Yes, but I feel like its not that big of a deal to put on charger every two days or so.Im so on the fence for a new watch. The Garmin fenix 8 Amoled DLC-titan 47mm or the AW ultra 3. Ive had several apple watches but changes to Garmin a few years back and just love the extra battery time. Only feature Im missing on Garmin is Apple pay (but Garmin pay works fine) and GSM so I can train without bringing along my phone. All the other features with million apps on AW was fun for 3 days but after that never really used as it was more conveniant to just use the phone. So AW Ultra 3 with 4-5 days battery and Im buying it. Otherwise its gonna be a new Garmin
I think the short answer is NO.I’ve never owned an Apple TV. Can you tell me what you’re looking for in terms of upgrades and why it makes a difference from the current model?
I'm in the market for a new Apple TV and HomePod Mini pair, so this is disappointing. There's no point in buying them now with rumors of an update on the horizon.
My current model is the Apple TV HD, which means it can't do 4k video and I have a new 77" OLED 4k TV.
Of course depends on the price I agree. But when Garmin can make a brilliant watch with bigger screen (up to 51 mm) in Amoled and now from next week micro-led and have included inReach sat coms or via LTE than Apple really needs to step it up. And that with at least 15 days battery with always on mode and up to 27 days in on/off mode the AWU2 just doesnt seem like a good buy. My current Garmin is closing in on 5 years and I still have 5 days battery and I work out 1 hour 5 days a week.... None of my Apple watches survived 2 years.Would it be nice to have longer battery life? Yes, but I feel like its not that big of a deal to put on charger every two days or so.
I could imagine the outrage/complaining if Apple released new AWU and was charging $1300 and $2000 for them.
You claimed the iPhone Air "can't last half a day off the charger."
Was wondering who your credible source was.
Well, he still plans to go. He loves speaking with Apple employees. He'll be out of luck. There'll be a distinct lack of intel(ligence) from Apple. It's either been declared "vintage/obsolete" or its release has been delayed.
Sound logic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣My credible source is that the 16 Pro Max gets about 17 hours of battery life. A phone half the thickness of it will get about half the battery life which is being generous.

The analysts don;t see the bigger picture. The average user upgrades every 3 years at which point the annual increments have snowballed. Apple is selling the iPhone 17 to people on a 14 or below. If you have a 15 or 16 then this isn't your time. Keep what you have and wait it out.Another year, another cavalcade of “boring, snoozefest, Apple’s lost it” commentary.
It does seem like nothing Earth-shattering is coming this year, but this is bog standard Apple playbook stuff imo. There aren't too many more retina display-type jumps to make in hardware, and the incremental updates seem pretty good to me.
I’m looking forward to seeing what actually gets revealed next week.
