Can't be true! Every iPhone 6s is unusable and slow because every phone was impacted and has a defective battery.

Oh wait, you live in reality...sorry.
My 6s runs fine as well, but I know someone with a 6 and her story is definitely different. Because of that, I’ve told my mom to keep her 5s on 10.3.3. One of my “Apple Rules” is to avoid the last major iOS update, but my friend’s 6 is challenging that since I have to assume iOS 12 will the final major update for the 6.

Still no fix on the Apple Mail app.. Load times take forever and a day with just two mail accounts since upgrading to iOS 11 on an iPhone 8 plus. I am glad that the app updates happen without lag now :)

That’s coming in 11.3, supposedly in March.

One would think that it should be a higher priority given that the whole battery issue got enough (negative) attention that they had to offer cheap battery replacements. Can it really take months to implement a software fix?

Same thing for me. I have an Apple TV 4K and an Airport express hooked up to my stereo. No tiles. Just the same old (awkward) interface in the control center.

Have you updated your AppleTV yet? I have an Airport Express, AppleTV3 (bedroom) and AppleTV4 (living room) and only the AppleTV4 gets it's own tile - the airport express and 3 still show up if I press the airplay button top right of the music controls but don't get a tile so I suspect the tiles only show Airplay 2 capable devices.

My 6S is a refurb I purchased this past summer - so it has a new battery (reported 1% wear level at present), and runs excellently.

I'm planning on continuing to use it for the next three years.

Smart to tell your mom to keep her 5s on iOS 10. I updated by 5s to 11, and it's terribly slow now. Even the system settings take about two seconds to open. I'm not angry — it's a 4-year-old phone — but it sure is annoying.

Seems like it's being added to the next feature release, and that's after it all only coming up in the last month. It certainly takes some amount of time to design a feature and related items to it, implement it all, test it, have it go through a beta process, and then actually release it.

I've only had 11.2.5 installed for about 2 hours but I've noticed that the battery isn't draining as fast on my 7 plus. On 11.2.2 it would continue to drop without using the phone at all. I would charge it to 100% and in a few hours it would be at 92-93%. I bought it in late March '17 so the battery is not depleted at all. With coconut monkey it tells me I have over 99% of original capacity.

I've always had problems clicking the play/pause button in control panel on the SE, inadvertently slides forward or reverse. Means I always have to long hold to bring up the larger window. However, this seems improved in the update? Or just my imagination?

I think at one point someone mentioned that they noticed that the touch targets for some of those buttons were somewhat off and/or of somewhat different size than what the visual cues would indicate. It's possible that's what was behind what you were experiencing and perhaps that might have been adjusted in some way.

It works, but The annoying issues are plenty, Most Issues im seeing are within mature iOS elements, why are we going backwards?
1. Hotspot connections aren’t automstic, have to cycle the option off/on to connect. This used to work great even in the iPhone 3GS days.
2. Safari will at random freeze during address changes or searches both leave screen white
3. Screen goes black during map guidance
4. AirPod connections taking to long with reattempts needed too frequently, and why the heck is the AirPod change embedded in the music control? Not very intuitive, what if I’m wanting to make a call?

I was so used to the it just works of the past, I hope Apple can clean thing up and ge5 back on track. While these things are small they do after time frustrate and weigh o;ones mind. To make maters worse, the feedback app is gone so we can’t report issues.

I don’t see the separate audio output tiles on either my “GA” 11.2.5 iPhone or my “Beta” 11.2.5 iPhone. Is there some sort of “secret handshake” to activate it, or is that only for some countries (e.g. the ones where HomePod is launching??
Initially, I was exactly having the same remark, but then I got an idea... and yes!

Make sure to have your other device update as well. I could see the difference after indeed having updated the Apple TV as well☝
