Tested and the haptic bug is now resolved by updating to 11.2.5 today

And I had put it on the list of complaints when bringing in my iPhone 7 Plus, which mainly had a distorted speaker. I got a replacement, sold it and bought the X. I only now found out about it being software related. Djeez... I hadn’t thought of that!?

Go plug your phone in. Enjoy the new haptic feedback click bug. ****ing Apple can’t get **** right anymore.

It may take a few tries, but the click bug is now there when plugging phone into charger.

I still get a faint haptic - similar/same as the multitasking one - but I do believe it’s intentional. Previously, there was almost a weird click. Also, there was no haptic feedback when the mute switch was on, now it’s consistently present both mute and not, so it feels intended. And I kind of like to have some feedback.

Of course the haptic was intentional. The clicking sound on the other hand is a bug.

I also get a clicking sound now when I plug my phone in. Apple can’t figure iOS 11 out at all.

NO clicking here with my iPhone X or 7+ on iOS 11.2.5 when I plug it in, or access the control center, or access accessibility.

Plug it in and unplug a few times in a row. It’s there

I still have haptic noises/vibrations in 11.2.6. Every now and then. But often enough that it’s on a daily basis. iPhone X.

Is there a fix for this?
My wife is asking. :) .. the swipe up haptic won’t go away even with haptic disabled.
