I think initially it was listed as a feature but then postponed for a later date.. I may be recalling incorrectly however. Anyone else remember that!?I don't think that was ever announced as a feature

They still label it is "Beta", so I assume they do not necessarily want to widely promote a feature which they know is not fully ready yet. Not that they didn't do the same with UC, but it doesn't mean mistakes should be repeated.Apple is really underselling their Private Relay features.
You are very misinformed.whats the status of gouv spyware backdoor ? is apple still considering enabling it ?
This is what I do and I keep a few eSIMs saved for places that I travel to often and just swap to them when I land. Having the slot open for a physical sim has been life saver on a few occasions. Just make sure your phone is unlocked before you try it.Note that you can have multiple eSIMs on earlier models, you just can only have one active at a time.
Having your main carrier on an eSIM may actually be better for traveling because you can buy those cheap prepaid SIM kits at the airport, pop it in, and go.
The situation varies wildly, though, which is why you shouldn't transfer a physical sim to an eSIM unless you have to. Might as well not limit your options, since you can't go in the other direction without talking to your carrier and getting a new SIM card.
where do you see that convert option? If you convert to eSIM it would invalidate your SIM card so you could pull it out and trash it once you've converted.
where do you see that convert option?
that is not a solution unless apple allows opening a different default camera app from the lockscreeen, the place from where you open the camera most of the times after pulling the phone out of the pocket.Sounds like a travesty.
If you prefer it with a bit more flexibility shoot in RAW or snag Halide. You don't have to live in a hellish state.
yes it's been called watercolor / oil painting / cartoon face effect. it's the aggressive post processing done by SmartHDR. See here and here and here and hereCan you elaborate on what you are experiencing? Personally, with the iPhone 13 Pro, I see a lot of processing when zoomed in that destroys detail and replaces it with… smudge. For example trees and leaves end up like a painting. I have never seen this on my iPhone 11 Pro, but it might be me focusing on this just now (or indeed a new issue).
Is that what you are referring to as well?
