Honestly I think they should of made more changes that make sense such as updating the photos app to show which videos are verticals which are horizontal as a creator of both it’s frustrating having to jump into each video to see which one is which when editing in apps as there is no indication they always show as just squares.

Haven’t seen this on Macrumors or 9to5’s articles - but game mode has a new pop up when entering games in beta 5

all these battery notifications and settings are getting a bit out of hand ... there are people out there who do not use their phone 15hrs per day non-stop ...
First of all, the 20% batter notification has existed for a long time now in some form. Second, sounds like you don't use up your battery to 20%, at which point, you won't even see this notification in the first place so it really doesn't affect you.

How many really new things, beyond glossy look?.
1 year or more of development wasted in this… apple R&D budget should at its minimal end years.
How about better auto predict keyboard?, customizable keyboard size?. Apple does not need to innovate, just copy Android vendors features.
I'm personally looking forward to some of the calling and voicemail options. Yes, I know some android devices have had those for a while.

I see that the setting "Reduce motion" tones down these new animations to a dull roar, making them barely noticeable. They're cute but I don't like them.

Also they need to fix app links going to the App Store and not opening the correct app (eg. Reddit). Also, there are still issues with Password autofill with some websites and apps constantly messing up.

There’s a setting for this, under view options just select “aspect ratio grid”.

Looks like there was an update to the temperature control in the Control Center home tiles. Previously the mode was a scroll wheel, now its a dropdown menu

The camera makes a bit of sense to me. I’ve noticed a couple instances where the new Liquid Glass thing doesn’t quite make sense - the camera app and Safari Tab Groups have you sliding the options themselves UNDER the glass selector, while a lot of other apps have you sliding the glass selector itself OVER the options.

It makes sense after a couple uses but it feels like there’s not a clear distinction and I think it’ll confuse a lot of users. Giving the “classic” option seems to acknowledge this…

EDIT: actually I’m wrong, in PB1 the camera app moves slider over the text, safari moves the text under the slider. I got it wrong but it kinda again highlights how it’s not cohesive through the system D:

I’m hoping Apple goes back to a 2-row footer bar in Safari instead of burying frequently-used buttons (share and all tabs, in particular) under the 3-dot menu. But these are nice changes!
It’s there in settings - apps - safari

Compact is new look, bottom and top give the two row look
