I like the new feature where the Apple TV app crashes every time I delete a movie or TV programme.

Biggest feature for me would be for Mail to actually started working again. Fed up of sitting there waiting for my inbox to display messages instead of ‘Checking for Mail...’ endlessly.

Since iOS 13 it’s been utterly useless.

always makes good sense to move your trash can icon away from important stuff
that mail should have a feature to move the icon where you want

Why don't you start a thread asking people with mail problems to post their settings?
I appreciate some people have problems but there must be millions that don't and as all the hardware and software is identical, there may well be some common factor for you people that have problems.
I don't think it's going to be fixed by Apple because it isn't universal.
You may all be using the same carrier and it's carrier settings or something at that end.
For example I've found using IMAP, I have problems getting mail if I don't re-enter user and password manually in the settings.
When you set up the dialogue you enter it once but afterwards, you have to go in and enter it again under preferences> @accounts everywhere it says 'optional'.
My ISP says to do that and it does make a difference for me.
It could be really useful to collect data and look for patterns.

I did set up a thread but so far the best recommendation was to switch to the Gmail app, which I did, and it does work perfectly. I think I'll just stay with the Gmail app from now on.

Extremely excited for CarKey, this is huge, I just hope it becomes a universal standard and all the security concerns like spoofing and relay attacks have been thought about and prevented.

They've been there for a while – STOP signs, too.
Yes, I noticed the stop lights and stop signs recently as well. They may have been there before. I don't normally stare at my screen while driving so I could have missed the feature a few updates ago. I seem to remember that navigation with Siri was updated recently with easier to understand alerts like using "turn left at next stop sign" instead of "turn left in 500 feet".

The best part of this update will be watching the humorous antics of all those people who realize that they left their car key fob at home and their iPhone battery is now too depleted to open or start their car. Priceless!

Corporate I.T. departments claim Apple is aware of the issues and is working on it.

You mean customization? That is so un-Apple.
Seconded. That is crazy talk. /s

I liked most of these changes, especially the email toolbar layout. I don't use emojis, me-mojis, or any of that stuff so it doesn't matter to me.

Back to email, it doesn't seem to be download email in the background. Every time I open mail, it says checking and will often download 20 or so messages as I watch it. My accounts are all Gmail(G Suite ) set to Fetch and iCloud set to push.

Last I checked, there wasn't a Background App Refresh setting for Mail, so I don't know what I setting I could have wrong.

This is running iOS 13.3.1.

Update / Correction: I found out after my post, that I can get push Gmail since I pay for Google Apps(G Suite ). I had to enabled Google Sync on my account, delete the gmail accounts from my iPhone and add them back as Exchange accounts. They all show as "Push" on my iPhone now.

W00t w00t!

With all these recent privacy and security concerns with iOS and Safari...wouldn’t it be better to use an iOS app like Spark for your iCloud Email? Spark organizes your email much better anyways.

Also, disable Safari on iOS with Screen Time. Use Brave browser as an alternative, enable Fingerprinting Protection on the shield defaults, and set it to always private browsing mode.

Use a good firewall that’s open source like Lockdown and a reputable VPN(using IKEv2 protocol) like ExpressVPN to encrypt your DNS queries and still have the Lockdown firewall working.

As noted by developer Steve Troughton-Smith, there appears to be a new option for remapping hardware keys on a keyboard that's connected to an iPad.
This is what I've been waiting for. For whatever reason, Caps Lock works fine on hardware keyboards unless you have multiple languages (in my case, English QWERTY, Japanese romaji QWERTY, and emoji). When this is the case, caps lock toggles between non-emoji keyboards and the globe toggles between all keyboards. I just want my caps lock to work correctly!

I wonder if Mail can now... you know, get mail automatically again?

Edit: Seems like it can! Looks like they fixed it!
Yea at least the core functionality works now, but I still am probably sticking with Outlook for features.

Better swiping customization
The delete button is in a much more convenient spot in the upper right when in an email.
You can cancel a delete by tapping the temporary undo button instead of shaking the phone like a caveman and hoping it actually works
