Based on your statement you seem to feel that Apple isn't doing enough for you so why not try the Windows world of notebooks if you feel they are doing more and Apple is behind them?

That sounds like one of those Neocon lines saying if you criticize America you arent American...There is absolutely nothing wrong with criticizing a current line based on some facts, and facts are mbpros were all about leading edge and were the best and thats w/o OSX, but now they are lagging behind, and raising the bar once again wouldnt be such a bad idea for their flagship model.

Well those are YOUR words not mine as I never implied anything to that effect.
I still stand by what I said, this has nothing to do with you not being allowed to criticize the all mighty Apple Inc, it's all about if you are unhappy at what Apple currently makes, Dell, HP, Acer etc....are all out there so go with that so you can get what you want.
What good is it if you just sit around complaining about Apple's current line?

Many of the posters are acting like hungry new born puppies waiting to be nursed by Apple, it's unhealthy, it's only a computer. Some of the poster know that they are not going to even buy after the update anyway.

Who cares in the end, Apple fan boys are purchasing the producs anyway no matter what's inside.

Spoken like a true troll. If so many Apple fanboys could care less, then why are there so many of them waiting for the MBP refresh/update on this forum? Some are even going for a Dell.

Apple has some old, saggy, small, and sour tasting tits.

Only a computer or not...the obsession continues :D But in any case, if you are Intel you are going to try to sell as many penryns as possible, and as for Apple why not put them into their flagship pro line notebooks to boost some sales "due to a new and improved system being available now for sale"?

Then tell that to every PC company as that's all they do is live past successes.
The Macbooks like the iBooks and the new iMacs like the old iMacs have always used very durable and stable plastics. You can tell cheap from durable and most PC companies go the cheap route. You can deny it all you want to.

The multitouch gestures extend to all of Apple's notebook line but if you want to ignore that as a feature that's nothing special (when no one else is doing it) fine.

The plastics on the MBP is of very poor quality. The color tears off to quickly.
The MBP is quite expensive. It makes no sense to compare cheap PC notebooks to the MBP. Of course there are notebooks on the market without bluetooth. Who cares, most people don't need it anyway. If you need it you can buy a more expensive one or buy a stick for £2.
