Evolutive Labs' Newest Case on Kickstarter: SolidSuit

Yeah I checked the fun spam places. I emailed their support to ask. With my luck, single orders received priority and my 3 pack will take longer.
Man I'll probably pick this case up when the iPhone 7 comes out. I spent too much on this Evutec case but I really like it and it hasn't left my phone. But being that the grip issue is solved with this new line I'll probably try them again. Wish I could trade in my Playproof which is just sitting here.
Really like the looks of this case and I might get one when the 7 comes out but I really hate when companies advertise a case as "leather" when it is not...had to read the fine print to find out it's fake though the description does call it "leather-like".
Any ideas when these will ship? I ordered mine 10 days ago but no follow up emails after the order confirmation.
given they plan to ship this month, this is just to fund manufacturing costs. This is a tiny company, you have to realize. They probably do not have the cash on hand to produce ahead of payment.

They've been around since 2012 and have an extensive line of products for a variety of devices. Not sure "tiny company" applies.
Don't get me wrong, I love their products, I just think it's weird to crowd source a new product when a company has sold thousands of pieces and has been around for 4 years.

"We will start shipping out rewards that do not contain “Leather” SolidSuit this week and continue sending well into next week. The SolidSuit Leather-finish cases will take slightly longer to ship. The first few should be sent out next week, and we are expecting to finish shipping before the end of the month. We will keep you posted about the Leather SolidSuit.
You should receive a tracking number within 2 days of the shipping confirmation email."
So the leather one's won't ship until AFTER the end of the month

disappointed as when purchased it was originally set for mid-may. Not the end of the world, but not good on their part to over a date, have people purchase and then have delays.
I am guessing it's not an issue of demand. Just an issue with the quality of the first run. So hopefully this just means they are revamping and will ship a quality product. Now that said, if they arrive later than expected ans the quality still sucks....then that would be a problem.

My thoughts exactly. I feel as though their communication throughout has been more off than on and their transparency has been rather murky. Going from being "ahead of schedule" to suddenly lagging behind is, to your point, disappointing. Not to mention, this Honeycomb wasn't announced until well after the leather and carbon fiber versions as a stretch goal. Odd to put the afterthought ahead of the original idea.
Definitely not the end of the world but I do hope we begin seeing shipping confirmation very soon.
FWIW I got a couple e-mails about an hour ago saying my order shipped. I ordered only one iPhone 6s SolidSuit in the leather-like finish.
Unfortunately, there's no tracking information attached, so I guess I just have to look out for it within the coming weeks.
