Exchange 4S black for white?

One thing that concerns me is that I may have to wait for my upgrade to reset before I can purchase the new white 4S, which can take some time. That means I won't be able to do the exchange on the same day.

currently i own a black 32gb iphone 4s if i purchased online could i walk in to my apple store an swap for a white 64gb iphone 4s, and pay the price difference

I reserved one last night and picked it up today. It was treated as an exchange. Smooth transaction. The white iPhone is sweet, no regrets.

Glad you were able to exchange it. Did you have to swap sim cards with your wife for the time being during the exchange process? I'm in the same situation as well.

I don't mind the fingerprints actually. I feel like it gives a bit of character (assuming the phone is used naked).

The iPhone had to go back with the original sim card, so I swapped sim cards wife my wife. And then we swapped back when I got home. Easy as that.

Glad you were able to exchange it. Did you have to swap sim cards with your wife for the time being during the exchange process? I'm in the same situation as well.

Walds....what are the major differences between white and black in your opinion. Please be specific, like screen quality (blue or yellow) etc.


Im still trying to decide between white and black.

No differences at all except for the white color. You can see the black sensor clearly at the top of the device. That is the only other physical difference. The screen quality is exactly the same as the black. I decided to exchange black for white because it is unique and very cool looking.
