Some people are just jelly because they cannot afford the plus. Don't listen to others. Some people tell me it's too big as well. But I just ignore them. The plus is the superior iphone as it has a higher screen resolution and image/video stabilization and excellent battery life.

The iPhone 6s is a toy.
Or, you know, everyone has their own preference and there isn't one that's somehow better for everyone or another one that's somehow worse.

I originally bought the iPhone 6s Plus from Best Buy on Thursday, and everyone kept telling me it was too big and I think I started to feel that way too. So I went to the exchange for the 6s, and now I think I'm regretting it and should have kept the plus variant.

I had a regular 6 that was acting funny that's why I upgraded and I kind feel like now that I didn't get anything new.

The 6s plus is heavier than the 6s, but do you the the size and weight is something you get use to and forget about?

The man at BB told me If I changed my mind I can still exchange in 14 days but I don't want to seem like an a$$ for going and getting the same phone I had.

The plus had a Samsung chip and this one has a TSMC chip, not that I think that it really means anything!

Thank you for any opinions!
Screw what they think, you're the one paying for it

I think next time give yourself more time with the device that way you won't need to change it

When I first pulled out my 6s plus one of my best friends asked me how I liked it. Before I could even answer he remarked "You hate it right? It's so big!" It took me a few weeks to get used to it, but the plus is the right size for me. I think the issues that some assume I have with the plus are greatly exaggerated. It fits comfortably in the pocket of every pair of jeans/pants/shorts I own and I don't have to use it any differently than my old iPhone 5.

It's strange that some are so put off by the size. In the past, it somehow wasn't a big deal to carry around a portable cassette or CD player--and both were much thicker and heavier than the Plus.

I've got the 6S (upgraded from 5S) and the screen is more than big enough. If I'm ever sat down anywhere long enough to play games / watch videos I have my iPad mini with me. There are definite positives to the increased size but I'd never choose it over the standard S.

I have tiny hands and really enjoy my 6s plus since launch day! Camera and battery life are significantly better than my mom's 6s. Trust me, you will get used to it over time. Don't listen to others because they are trying to use auto-sugesstion on you, at the result you will feel that way but actually it's not.

I've tried both and done exchanges myself a few times. I always end up going with the regular size.

The Plus is a amazing phone, and very fun to use, but once you're out and about, day to day, the size starts to become cumbersome for me. Battery life is amazing but for my usage the regular 6 has gotten me through the day. Between the 6 and 6S, and even the 5S, I've never once ran out of juice but the end of the day.

I also don't use the camera a lot, so OIS isn't needed for me. I've summed it up for people that decide between the 6S and 6S Plus:

If you just want a Phone and have a tablet or iPad, get the 6S... You can still consume media, but it's obviously going to be a huge advantage on the Plus. If you want a compact "phone" for calls and text, this is a good option.

If you're seeking an all in one device, media consumption, or in need of very long battery life or the best camera experience, get the Plus.

I feel the same. Like to play plus at home, but rather use 6s outside.

Yet another ignorant comment. I can afford both the Plus and regular 6s. I largely prefer the 6s.

Let me guess; you're one of those people who thinks that their way is the only way, right?

Sorry bud, but that's not how the world works.

I'm petite with very small hands. I got used to the 6s Plus right away. True, I use a Note 4, a Lumia 1520 and a BlackBerry Passport so I'm used to big phones. But I think the Plus feels the most comfortable.

And no way would I give up that screen.

Choose what works for you.

I did the exact opposite, i had a 6S then exchanged for the 6S+ but it was too big for me, I much prefer one handed texting in which I could not get used to with the +. So I went back to the 6S.

It's amazing how defensive people get over their phone size choice (same with Apple Watch Sport vs. Stainless Steel).

Just try to ignore the "troll/insecure" type posts and be glad Apple has the 14 day return policy. :) Honestly both phones are great and I'm glad we have a choice!

No one can decide what is the best option for you but yourself. Take other people's opinion in consideration, but you need to make that final choice. No one can fill your shoes better than you.

I thought the 6 plus would be too big for me, but I love the battery life and larger screen. Carrying it around wasn't such a big deal because I had the original Samsung Galaxy Note. I was used to the size. I thought about going back to the 6s, but I noticed I type faster on the plus. And due to the great battery life, I don't need the mophie case that I had on my previous 5S.

Screw everyone including Apple employees and get the phone you want. They have policies, you follow them. If they allow you to keep exchanging, feel no embarrassment in doing so. Some people on here exchange 20 devices for flaws that you need a microscope to see. What you are doing is minor.

I will add myself to the happy 6s+ users in this thread. Yes the extra bulk is noticeable at times and one-handed use is a bit harder, but in exchange I'm enjoying the larger/higher-res screen, OIS, and better battery life. I upgraded from an iPhone 5s, and now it seems almost unbearably small.

If you want the 6s+, exchange again to get that back.

Just for a little insight, I bought the 6+ after trying both sizes out at the store. Granted that its not quite enough time to truly decide but I went ahead with my purchase. I didn't buy the 6+ for the screen size but for the battery...and the OIS. After more than a year with the plus I've grown to dislike it. I find it too big and I've dropped it more than any phone I've ever had.
I wanted to get rid of the bigger phone and get the smaller size but I felt like I would be "downgrading" from the "best" experience the iPhone could offer. Also, everyone told me to keep it because it was the best and the bigger screen was better.

Anyhow, the lesson is to get what you feel you want. Screw what other people think. In the end, you'll be the one using the freakin thing. GL

I've had the 6S+ for quite a while now and I absolutely love it. Far better than my iPhone 6. The larger screen and the larger battery are a no-brainer for every phone lover. I do wonder though, who are those people who are telling you you own a phone that's too big? Nobody ever told me this. It's your phone, you should be happy with your decision.

Some people want to use a phone with smart features; some want a beast smart phone. 6s plus kinda ugly and too heavy compares to S6 edge plus.

im in fact the opposite of you !

had a 6+ and went to a 6s !

could not be happier !

whenever i see someone with a big huge plus i sort of feel as if theyre apes with those big huge phones !

6s, for me, is for the much more delicate, refined persons !

Really ignorant comment there. I can afford any phone I want and I picked the phone not the phablet. My iPad Air 2 is even bigger than a plus but that doesn't mean I want to carry it around. Some of us have different requirements to you.

I think the plus is too big for a dude. Just my opinion. I like the 4.7" screen size although I think something in between the 2 would be perfect. 4.9-5.2 or something.

I'm ignorant because I stated my opinion. First of all I was actually joking in the first half of my post. I didnt expect anyone to take my jelly remark serious. But what I said about iphone 6s plus being superior is true. The phone is better due to the higher resolution screen and image stabilization. Doesn't mean it's for everyone but it is the better phone specs wise.

I use my iPad Mini 4 LTE as my phone. Amazing screen. Great for playing games and videos. Ability to run two apps on split screen or slide out. It's the only way to go. It only took me a few days to get used to it. But once I did, man did the 6S+ look small. Battery life is amazing too.

Skip the 6S+ and go straight for the iPad Mini 4 LTE. Since the 6S+ is a two hand device anyways you might as well go big.

In all seriousness, I use a 6S in conjunction with a Mini 4 LTE which goes with me almost everywhere. Had a 6+ last year and 6S+ when it released. I recently sold the S+ and switched to the 6S.

Get what works for you. Some people prefer SUVs some prefer sports cars. Only you know what works for you.
