38mm Black aluminum Apple Watch Sport with the black band is my choice. Simple and plain, but gets the job done.

2 Bands make her dance

Anyone else notice that with the Apple Watch Sport that you get 2 bands with your purchase? You can see it at the bottom of the store page.

I'd say if I were to get one, I'd opt for the sport model, mostly because of the prices. True, you get more band choices with the stainless steel, but its hard to justify spending 100+ for the same watch.

You get more DEFAULT configuration choices with the stainless, but the bands are also available a la carte and interchangeable between collections, so you can dress up your sport at a later time.

Yes, there's a thread on this. But it's the same color band in two different sizes so Apple can eliminate separate inventories for two different wrist sizes (rubber straps cost next to nothing to make).

This. I'm surprised more people aren't noticing this.

Get the Sport Watch and then just buy other bands to switch into for different occasions. The only issue is that some bands are available only for one size (like the leather loop is only for 42mm).

But yeah..I'm getting the Sport watch with black band and then buying a leather loop to wear for most of the time when I'm not exercising.

I worry about the quality of the screen of the Sport, and how the case will look with the Apple Watch bands. So I'm kinda forced to get the watch that matches completely (milanese loop SS).

I've noticed this! Though only because I read it on these forums!

And this is why I'm driving myself insane.

Do I just trade up to the SS? Aargh.

I'm a SS because it's a good compromise between the Sport (looks too much like an iDevice, especially the iPhone 5c) and the Edition (bad value given its limited shelf life).
