Hi. I have discovered your software after migrating from Ubuntu to Windows 10, while using a Magic Trackpad 1. In linux I used the software "fusuma" for the gestures, and I think yours is similar, but for windows.

Just a couple of issues: I can't seem to get the 4 finger gestures to work. Whatever I configure, they always do a "minimize". I want that 4 finger swipe be Control+W in order to close the current chrome tab, but it doesn't work. 3-finger gestures work just fine. Nevermind, I realized I had to "save" the keypress before clicking OK.

Also, the scroll, while smooth, is not as accurate as my windows gesture trackpads. Let's say it has a fixed speed after an initial acceleration, while the ones in windows literally track the speed of your fingers real time. That's not achievable in this case, isn't it? It would be great if it just supported microsoft precision drivers like a real trackpad.

Oh, and finally, I realized that the scrolling speed is tied to the mouse wheel speed. Can that be changed?

Apart from that, it´s great. Thanks!

@wonexns: Thank you for feedback! Radically better scrolling with inertia is hopefully coming soon, but there are several very specific problems to solve because ExtraMagic is still dependent on Apple implemenation of Bluetooth HID drivers stack.
Windows detects Magic Trackpad 1 as mouse, so pointer speed is shared, which is always an issue with Windows...

If a more accurate mouse acceleration can be achieved, that would be awesome! In theory it should be possible, because in linux it works like a native touchpad, but I have no idea how they implemented that...

I own a mbpro 2014, but had a seldom used Apple Trackpad 2 lying around collecting dust. With a little spare time over the holidays relaxing, I came across the ExtraMagic software. I am now a proud user of ExtraMagic with Windows 10 Pro, it's given my Apple Trackpad 2 a new lease of life with the mac like finger gestures. Also great to know that the software is continually being maintained.

hello vladimir,
i am using windows 10 pro and i have a magictrackpad2.
I downloaded extramagic to be able to use wireless, but I have some problems. keystrokes recording does not record keys at all
the registration area is empty
back and forward does not work with either two parks or 3 fingers.
I'll be glad if you can help.

Thank you for reporting. Some time ago few users confirmed that Logitech and Microsoft mouse advanced drivers, when installed, somehow disable back forward function for other SW clients. As I remember, it's Logitech SetPoint or Control Center or Microsoft's one as well.

Keystrokes can be recorded, this is stable according to my testing and most of the feedback from users. But again, I think in few cases keyboard drivers may interfere.
