Okay Reverend Benny, I checked and the iPad air isn't supported...?😥😥😥
I can't see why the Air wouldn't be supported. It's pretty much the same HW as the Pro.
I'm guessing they have missed to list it.
E-mail them and ask. And even if you don't wanna use Belkin, there are a lot of others to choose from.

Ugreen is a well known brand, they list the Air.

I just submitted my order for this:

I took all the advice I received in this thread and made a purchase.

The iPad Mini was cheaper but the iPad Air seems to be much better for the future because of the M3 CPU? I just want an iPad that'll receive software updates for a long time.

Hey guys,

I just dropped my iPad 9th Generation 256GB and the top of the screen is cracked... 😢😢😢

I now need to buy a new iPad model but I don't know what to do since my iPad 9th Gen was the last iPad to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack... 😭😭😭

This is my model here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/111898

I was planning on using this iPad 9th Generation for a few years to come and this is why I paid extra for the 256GB model... 😭😭😭

Thank you for any advice!

You could just get an iPad without a 3.5mm jack 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you for your replies!

I REALLY need to be able to use my 3.5mm headphones so any help would be great!!!

I really want to avoid buying a no name brand so these are the two adapters I'm trying to decide between:

Belkin and Apple:

The Apple adapter definitely works - I have one.

I bought the UGREEN product mentioned earlier in this thread, and it works great for charging and using 3.5mm earbuds/headphones at the same time.
Thank you for your reply!

I have no experience with UGREEN so I'm looking at getting the Belkin because it's a well known brand.

Even if the UGREEN is cheaper it doesn't seem like it's worth saving a few dollars if it's not gonna last a long time or if it gives me problems when I'm using it.

I'd go crazy if I need to keep adjusting the adaptor whenever I use it... 😢😢😢

That’s fine, of course. I only posted because you seemed to be uncertain about what to buy.

I have a question is there a reason a pair of Bluetooth headphones wouldn’t work? Something like the Sony CH-520 isn’t too bad price wise and even comes in some cool/cute colors and would let you charge the iPad while listening to music.

I’m sure there’s also adapters for your headphones that would let you use them as Bluetooth headphones.
