Well in the case of bluetooth, the main issues there for headphones is interference from things like microwaves and sometimes you might get disconnected randomly. I didn't know about security risks however. So I researched it and yea, depending on the chip there's some unpatched devices but that can be usually fixed with an update.

I would rather buy the iPad 11th gen or bare minimum the iPad Air M3 and just buy a dongle. The iPad would last much longer then getting a 9th gen iPad at this point

Thanks, I learned something today because of your thread! That said, I don't blame you for wanting wired headphones, I get a little tired of having to charge my headphones which I mostly use for my phone/Mac for music and podcasts plus phone calls.
I do want more wired headphones but I want to save my money at the moment, they would be nice for my gaming computer.

I just came across this Belkin USB-C adapter and it's nearly double the price of the other Belkin USB C adapters but I don't know why??? What additional features does it have?

Why don’t you buy from the known brands in this thread on amazon, try it out and if really not working as advertised (which i doubt) send it back for free?
You know, both can be returned if needed. Amazon makes returns a piece of cake. I returned an ipad air m3 and screen protector without any issue.

Belkin only makes two models. One that has two USB-C ports, and one that has a USB-C and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Both are offered in black and white, so essentially four patterns, and Amazon is only showing three of them. Belkin sells these for about the same price. Did you even check their website directly? The difference in pricing on Amazon has to do with the sellers. I could set up a store on Amazon and sell it for $200 if I wanted to.Thank you for your replies!

This is the dual USB-C version. It looks like Apple doesn't sell the other one, so would also need to get the USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter to plug into it if only wanting to get stuff sold through Apple. (Or get USB-C headphones.)They sell the Belkin, they don't make a first-party one
