Facebook App for iPad. Ever?

Can't actually believe that Facebook hasn't done an App for iPad.

Access through the browser is ok but so many features such as location checkins and photo upload just don't work

Is there news or rumors about Facebook working on their iPad App.

Although friendly is nice, with the new camera features added, it would be nice to be able to take and upload videos from the iPad 2 straight through friendly, much like you can do on the Facebook app for the iPhone.

Unless I am mistaken and friendly does have this functionality? 😛

I wouldn't expect it any time soon. They haven't even been able to get their damn chat function to work properly on their DESKTOP version for what feels like years. You can't even sign into chat on the iPhone without being signed in on a computer first.

Seems like they'd rather build an excellent HTML5 site that works on all platforms than build individual apps.

Makes sense considering apps for tablets would have to cover RIM, WebOS, Android, iOS, Windows, etc.

Actually touch.facebook.com is not bad. But still no way to upload pictures.

MyPad+ seems more usable and less buggy than Friendly. 😎

Friendly is terrible. I agree. I use the Facebook email photo upload option for photos. Friendly is just a mess.

all the apps like friendly are just a pile of crap. you don't need a facebook app when the standard site works so well thru safari. as for photos and location check in, i just do thru the iphone app. facebook chat i use thru Beejive as i have all my chat logins thru there, facebook, msn, yahoo, google talk.

What's awful about it? I must have hit my head, but I kind of like it.

With that said, Facebook itself is pretty freaking awful. 🙂

I like that friendly leaves out all the game requests and ditches the constant advertising.

Friendly is absolutely horrible. Just a big steaming pile of bugginess.... Spell check doesn't even work properly, for goodness sake....

Sorry to say tho, it's the best of the Facebook apps

yea that and it's buggy as hell. i tried it again last night and it crashed alot.

Facebook looks perfect in safari anyway. why use some rubbish substandard interface like friendly.

What is awful about Friendly? What are you expecting from it. I've never had it crash. I see all that I want. I can chat, comment, post...nice interface..WTH am I missing that you all dislike.?
