Facebook App for iPad. Ever?

i can comment and post from safari too. friendly's interface is just awful. and it crashes quite often, on my original ipad before xmas wheni tried it then and on my ipad 2 last night.
as for chat, i only do that thru beejive as it's much more reliable. friendly would lose things i sent or just send them 20 mins after i actually sent them.
open safari ... logout your girlfriend ... log yourself in ... voilá ... can't chat or directly upload pics, still
besides, from within friendly you can always just open up the regular facebook page.

lol or you could just use the iPhone app to upload pics and/or chat. not hard.
Actually if you use Atomic Browser, you can use the normal facebook site and do chat too.. only thing you can't do is upload pics.
Plus neither of them crash like friendly, so you'll not be interrupted mid flow.....
yeah but multi-user support is what's the most interesting feature.
friendly never crashes on me, either.
i suffer from the fact that i cannot view the 'live feed' at the moment, but they're fixing it, so i'm okay with that.

that's pretty much the 3 main reasons there's dedicated apps out there
well that's a big bug tho with the live feed, whereas i'd never have that problem with the website....
as for multi user, that's a stretch of a reason to just use a dedicated app. out of all the people i know that use an iPad (about 10), all have had issues with it crashing and none have the need for multi-user support. i have no need when my missus has her own ipad, iphone and laptop.
not sure why it does it, but just use ebuddy or beejive or something like that for the chat, it's much better as you can have your msn, google talk, yahoo or whatever all logged in there too. if you wanna stick to having it in the browser, just got for atomic broswer, it's quite a bit better than safari
I have Friendly and while I really love it, it's been pretty glitchy lately. If I go to the notifications it won't always go to the 'status' when I click on it so I can reply.. Or if there is a birthday and I click on the username it won't go to the page. I don't cRe too much about uploading photos as I just do that through my iPhone, or the computer.. But.. I would love the glitches to resolve. Since I don't use FB chat at all, that also isn't something that bothers me.
I also have Facely HD on my iPad which is for Facebook, but it's not all that great. I know peoe that love it, buti prefer friendly. I just can't believe there is no OFFICIAL app after all this time!

I had friendly but never really got on with it, then tried mypad but still was not that happy with it. So, I have since downloaded Facely HD and that has been great so far.
I have read reports from around September time which said they was working on and official Facebook app which would be out In around 6 months, which would be about now is that it would be released.

same here, why use some random app when you can use the real thing
Safari has been flaky for me on the iPad when using facebook - especially when trying to switch views, or when scrolling to the bottom of my news feed and trying to move past that. I get the animation like it's trying to load more stories and then just no updates.
Friendly doesn't have those errors, for me at least.
i've never had an issue on safari. whereas i tried friendly again this arvo, it crashed out or just screwed up 5 times in 10 mins. never again

Problems with uploading pictures to facebook?
This is what i just did
Download and install facebook app for iphone (directly from your ipad)
Iphone apps work fine on ipads, it,s just a small screen.
Use it only when you upload a picture!!
I haven't checked yet if it will give me push notices too. If it does it will be great.
Anyways i will be able to load pictures taken by ipad directly to the site!! That's good eough for me now!!
Btw, i just use safari for other activities on facebook and i don't see any benefit from using Friendly
