I am looking forward to his presentation. Mark, standing there, talking about privacy. I love stand up comedy

Zuck is in big big big big trouble.

I can't wait until it all breaks.

Don’t say that, you may upset him, poor Zuck may need to wipe his tears with a few $100 notes

Facebook and privacy are almost an oxymoron.

Facebook doesn't care about privacy, they care about $$$. Since public perception affects them, they're actually trying to change their image.

If they hadn't been busted a few times, they wouldn't be trying to change their image.

Then there's Google. They probably have profiles on everyone given all the areas they're involved with - and sell that info to whomever wants to pay. However, I digress.

I agree with you.

That said, if Facebook could change their priorities such that their business model was no longer ad-based, then Facebook would have a much stronger incentive to want to safeguard your data, because they would now be trafficking in trust.

But I will believe it when I see it.

Desperation is a powerful motivator. Who would’ve thought shining a spotlight on internet privacy would send the cockroaches running for cover...
