Meta is going to reveal this guy is even worse than you ever imagined before. A phoney just like the 5 billion fake bot accounts across social media.
Apple does not allow apps to offer alternative payment options for digital goods at the time, but Facebook is skirting this rule because creators are having people pay via the web, not Facebook, so it's a something of a gray area.
Facebook's entire business model is one big gray area, where greed intersects with an absence of morality and ethics.
Yeah, alright. People keep saying this over and over and over and Facebook and their other fleet of apps are more popular than ever.At this point, I suggest… everyone needs to delete Facebook. Humanity will be better off without Facebook. They are just out here to invade your privacy and make money. This isn’t going to stop. Your privacy and the money is on the line.
Apple should create a social media network to rival Facebook. Not just for music, though, aka iTunes Ping.
Yeah, alright. People keep saying this over and over and over and Facebook and their other fleet of apps are more popular than ever.
I've yet to read of any sort of decline in active users. It isn't going to happen. Sadly.
No one can rival Facebook. It's firmly established with 2.91 billion monthly active users. No one can knock them off their perch. They have more power than most governments & should never have been allowed to get so dominant.Apple should create a social media network to rival Facebook.
Agree - commenters often seem to struggle to separate the evil of Facebook's business model and practices from the real value the service brings to millions of people - the two aren't mutually exclusive. Saying "people should stop using Facebook" is too simplistic when so many people now have a dependence on it in their day-to-day lives (and I don't mean just watching cat videos). There are thousands of online communities, clubs, support networks, self-help groups enriching people's lives that probably wouldn't exist if FB wasn't a thing.Yeah, alright. People keep saying this over and over and over and Facebook and their other fleet of apps are more popular than ever.

When is Tim and company going to make it clear that the rules apply to all developers. Take the "Meta" apps off the app store if they can't follow the rules.
With a whopping great dollop of smugness & self importance of its cretinous leader. ?Apple does not allow apps to offer alternative payment options for digital goods at the time, but Facebook is skirting this rule because creators are having people pay via the web, not Facebook, so it's a something of a gray area.

What’s your retort ?Amazing how much ignorance you fit into one post.
How is Facebook monetizing this? There's got to be something in this for them.
Facebook/Meta blames it‘s declining revenue on Apple. As for users, do we really know which are people and which are bots?Yeah, alright. People keep saying this over and over and over and Facebook and their other fleet of apps are more popular than ever.

With all that has been going on, time to invest in popcorn stock.Hold my phone and grab me some popcorn.
Agree with this as well. The Marketplace pretty much blows Craigslist out of the water. The groups are as good as, if not better, than Reddit at times. If people would just realize that there is more to Facebook than politics, there are some pretty good groups on Facebook. I am a member of many Apple related groups on there for example.Agree - commenters often seem to struggle to separate the evil of Facebook's business model and practices from the real value the service brings to millions of people - the two aren't mutually exclusive. Yeah! I mean - as soon as Tim makes it clear that the rules apply to ALL developers - except Amazon and a few others who have special deals. When is Tim and company going to make it clear that the rules apply to all developers. Take the "Meta" apps off the app store if they can't follow the rules.
Yeah. One bucket at a time. With all that has been going on, time to invest in popcorn stock.
