Y'know, I just hope Tim Cook will green light Facebook functionality throughout iOS. I could care less about Twitter functionality. No one I know is on Twitter. Everyone is I know is on Facebook.

I really don't want to install another app to make something that should be super-easy already, easy to do.

It appears we've all been under some spell to make us think that Facebook (particularly their CEO) knows what they are doing.

It seems the market, and even common folk like us, are starting to see the light.

I don't know what I'm doing. I wish I could put the public under the same sort of spell and make as much money as Mark Zuckerberg has. ;)

Ridiculous, they should all be integrated into a single app, don't know why is so hard for fb to do this... I guess I will create a fb folder and that will become my main menu for fb...

SO ....

Now they have THREE different Apps ?

That's idiotic.

Would it be so hard to consolidate them all into ONE App ??!?!!!

EDIT : Whoops ! I didn't read all the other posts. I guess we're all on the same page. Great minds think alike

Technically 4 apps :) I use pages for my blog, messenger for my blog, i just downloaded Camera to check it out, and I have the facebook app already. Yeah, its a very bloated social networking style that if not carefully controlled will get so large it will fall in on itself.

Facebook you have it twisted when I said I wanted you to spend money of fixing the monstrosity that is the Facebook app I didn't mean write a seperate app for every feature on fb. Although I wouldn't be surprised if I a full rewrite from the ground up is needed to fix it. It's soooooo slow.

I'm really not understanding their whole service augmentation approach. It's like if there was a McDonald's: Burgers and McDonald's: Fries. People like to go to one place for everything. It's even more frustrating when you're accessing the same service from different areas.

"Did you see the link I posted on your wall?"
"Crap, no! I think I deleted my Wall app when I installed the Poke app since my Facebook folder was full."

Downloaded the App, took a pic and added a filter to test it.

Now I want to delete the photo and there is no option to do so.

Even when I deleted it fom the camera roll, it still shows up in the App.

Not a great start...

Yawn

So, this app is a basic very of path hu? I know some say Path is a "version" of FB, but they sure did one heck of job making it media oriented. Pictures pictures pictures. Not many actually use FB to communicate but rather as a scrapbook of photos. Path in my opinion does that many times better and oh.. their iOS is as smooth as butter, not fb butthurt.

Anyways, this looks just like Path and what's up w/ blowing 1Billion on a company to release an app a few weeks later. We all know they were already working on this and finishing it up.. heck it was probably in beta when Zuck bought instagram. Person opinion, the guy isn't a major league player. He doesn't know how to control a corporation. Startup sure, big company... no.

I think this is nice but I dont want to have a whole folder dedicated to just facebook and their apps. It should be more simple and one easy to use application.

Theres a folder worth of Google apps. Gmail, Google Search, Google Voice, Currents, Google+, Places, Translate, Authenticator, Shopper, Google Earth, Play Books, and Blogger.

Seriously Facebook, this is ridiculous.

Just make one app and include all the features! I don't want all your apps cluttering up my phone!

If you could care less, then why don't you?

Wow zuckerdork is very inventive... A photo app? I guess all that thieving of our data and privacy breaches to make a buck pay off in inventiveness.

Facepalm.
