NOT available worldwide

Just tried to download the app, its not available in the Uruguayan iTunes store.

Other countries have the same limitation?

If you could care less, then why don't you?

Sigh. I know you got excited about the opportunity to correct someone's grammar but I've already been corrected at least twice.

As punishment for my error, I will be going to my local supermarkets and writing "fewer" over "less" on all the signs at the express lines.

Why is this MR news?! Does anyone here really care about this and other "here's a new app" front page garbage-ish writeups? Seriously.

Why doesn't MR spin off a sister site dedicated to App promotions/advertisements and leave the MR site to, um, er, actually Mac news or at LEAST Apple news.

Geeeeeeeeeeeez

I stopped posting pictures in Facebook because I gather the terms of service make you sign away your copyright...

3 facebook apps now? Is that really needed? Why not just make one very good app instead?

Pretty soon I'm going to have to have a folder just called 'facebook'.
Correction: Facebook has 4 iOS Apps.

This app strategy is weirder than Zuckerberg himself.

Theres a bigger picture here somehwere, but only God knows what it is.

Just another nail in Zuckerberg's CEO coffin. He's not fit to manage a billion dollar company. Facebook will be looked upon as one of the major 'what should have been' business of this generation. Instead it's muffed up by a conceited 28yr old.

You're the biggest thing on the planet, how can you not have top-notch products? More money than you need, you could buy ANYONE to come and work for you.

The app is good

Has IG filters, auto recognizes faces for tagging, you can post multiple pics at once and you don't have to wait a million years for the feed to update before you can use it

I was at a bday party last month and took pictures with my iPhone. Posted them on her wall and it took forever because I had to do it one by one.

This is much easier

Agreed. Seems like it been well thought out. This is how the full FB app should work on the iPhone.

As a developer, having separate, dedicated apps is *exactly* what Apple wants us to do. The idea is many apps that perform a specific task extremely well.

I hate the Facebook app as much as the next guy, but this is a very smart move by Facebook. I don't understand how everyone is complaining the Facebook app is too bloated and slow and then continue to complain that they're breaking it up into smaller, better functioning apps.

Why load your entire Facebook timeline - wait for photos to load - wait for your gazillion "friends" statuses to load - find out what your friends are selling in the market place - be bombarded with notifications - watch the app crash and restart it - when all you wanted to do was take a quick picture of something and upload it?

After actually downloading it and using it...this app is amazing. Super fast. Loads as fast as my macbook. :D

Now release a better facebook.

1)Facebook will be the next Myspace very soon IMO...I think FB has been getting less cool for well over a year now...how many people that signed up say 1-2 years ago are still using it hourly/daily like 6-month newbies?

2)FB has no business other than ads. FB is a giant database displayed on a webpage. Wow. That's innovative.

3)FB has no real money...everything is locked up in the belief it will somehow, um, do something. Such as?

FB will soon be another fun/cool website that after 5 years becomes boring. As far as I can tell, the majority of FBers are: a)people under 20. b)stay at home moms with nothing else to do but post pix/comments every 30 mins about their kids and home life. B O R I N G Sure there are 900 million users but so what? Other than selling that user info to ad companies or making a few apps that run on FB (which are quite anti-privacy) FB has no income. Although Facebook was the 2nd social website (after Myspace), and I give FB credit for being POPULAR, it offers nothing to me other than a free place to keep in touch with my friends rather than phone calls or emails or texts.

One word FRAGMENTATION like Android! The app icon is copied from iOS camera app and the name too.
