"The full Safari engine is inside of iPhone. And so, you can write amazing Web 2.0 and Ajax apps that look exactly and behave exactly like apps on the iPhone. And these apps can integrate perfectly with iPhone services. They can make a call, they can send an email, they can look up a location on Google Maps.

And guess what? There’s no SDK that you need! You’ve got everything you need if you know how to write apps using the most modern web standards to write amazing apps for the iPhone today. So developers, we think we’ve got a very sweet story for you. You can begin building your iPhone apps today"

If the iPhone stayed still having no apps, I am sure nobody would be using one now :D. Wow a phone with no apps just sounds so primitive in todays age.

Dying because of facebook, i think you need to open a window and take a breath.

I feel you think (s)he was talking about himself/herself dying? I think he was trying to say his iPhone was dying cause FB was slow which is a legitimate assumption I would say. No?

I feel you underestimate Apple's marketing divison. I think they could have had a successful non-app iPhone. I think they chose the app route because they could make money off it versus web apps they can't. IMHO.

Is it just me or can someone explain how you can delete posts, before the update on my iPad/iPhone I used to swipe to the right and then delete but this function has gone I'm bamboozled.

I think you can only tag people in photos at the time of uploading no idea why this is but it's crap

It seems to only work on certain sections. Like I can delete them when I go from my page but not if I go from notification center.

This is good. I haven't liked certain things about the older app. It's nice they care enough to rewrite the entire thing.
