FaceTime camera for external monitor?

I have an LG 29" wide screen monitor for my 2016 MBP. I need a camera that will work with my MBP that I can mount on the LG monitor, preferably USB Type C, but I have a USB 3.whatever adapter.

Can anyone recommend a good cam to use?

Any USB webcam will work. I have a logitech C310. It's just plug and play, no drivers needed.

Go with a Logitech camera and stay away from Microsoft cams. I made the mistake of buying the latter. 🙁
