Is it one you got from EC or where did you get it? Makes me wonder.
I think I found a good solution for those who cannot get their headphone plug into the jack.

I don't know how much the shipping would be for this alone but it won't be more than 2 bucks (I ordered a 6 ft. headphone extension cable as well and the shipping came to $1.99). A few of the reviewers say they bought the adapter for the same reason and that it got the job done for them. Obviously this isn't to assume it will work with the fake Element case, but I have another Monoprice cable for aux out for my car and its plug fits the case fine (the plug design of it looks to be similar to the design of the adapter). Monoprice is always high quality stuff so I don't think there will be any audio quality loss issues. I couldn't tell you how many HDMI cables I've purchased from them over the years.
I will update in a few days once the plug comes in to verify whether it fits. I will also post photos of my aliexpress purchased case/phone.
I got ghost armor on the sides of my phone.. So installing the rash guard on top is not possible. But ghost armor doesn't cover the chamfered edge. Anyone else in a similar situation? Will not installing the rash guard scratch up the chamfered edge? Any output would be appreciated!
which site delivers the fastest to socal? caseswill or dx-box?
Hands down Caseswill. To Northern Calif. 10 days (not business days). I don't remember exact number of days for DX-BOX, but much longer.

It fits fine, covers the entire back, but i was worried since it felt much more sticky than the real back plate i had for my 4s, so i tried pulling it up and the suede started separating from the glued plastic piece.

fast shipping,
So you've had this for about a month. My question is, is that black "anodized" finish wearing off? I put quotes around anodized because I'm not sure if it is or is it painted? What's your opinion on that?
For those that ordered from China based companies like Caseswill and DX-Box, how's the shipping time and customs charges?
I'm seriously thinking of ordering
I've got a fake case which I bought off eBay. It's quite a good copy IMO.
I thought it was, however, effecting the wifi on the phone - I would be sitting in the same room as my home network but I was only getting 1-2 bars of wifi and not the full 3.
I also had a fake carbon plastic back, which I thought looked quite good. I took the case off but it didn't make any difference to the wifi?! I thought it was a little strange - there was no way a back could effect the wifi could it?! I took off the carbon back and almost instantly my wifi jumped back to 3!
The wifi on the iPhone 5 must be situated somewhere on the back of the phone as opposed to around the sides - it's weird that a fake carbon back sticker can effect it?! Oh well - it's off now anyway but still have the element case on the phone. Awaiting the fake 'attack back plate ' to come now - let's hope I don't have issues with that as well!!!!
I am curious about the Caseswill Sector 5 and Black Ops. There has been all kinds of speculation about is it painted or anodized. Now that they have been out there for a while, do people believe the aluminum ones are anodized? More importantly, either way how is the finish standing up? Does the finish rub of after months of sliding in and out of pockets or holsters. I'm not referring to key or hard object damage. Does continuous cloth or leather friction cause the coating to rub off?
I had the caseswill blackops version for a while and it was definitely painted.
First off, I can tell anodization from paint, and it was paint. Anodization doesn't show under spray in areas.
Second, you can't anodize zinc alloy. It wasn't aluminum, it was a zinc alloy, probably zamak.
