Fake Sector 5 Case Reviews

From the lack of response to my question about durability of the finish on these Element imitations I have to assume there is no problem. If there was a problem irate owners couldn't complain fast enough. I'm comforted that the nice appearing finish on my Caseswill Black Ops may last a while.
 
Totally off topic but I am looking for a black grip for my less than authentic black ops sector 5. Anyone know where I could get one cheap?

I just saw the CF editions on Aliexpress as well. Some of the sellers there use actual pictures of their products unlike the ones in the dxbox links. It looks like they did a much better job with the attack backplate, which makes sense since it's probably very similar to the work they're used to doing. I almost pounced on a used CF on eBay, now I'm glad I didn't because I didn't know fakes this good were out there.

Haven't seen pictures of the fake elite backplate yet.

Well, my fake case finally arrived today and first impressions are that it seems quite nice!! The fitting seems quite snug and there are no loose parts or movement of the case. A few things which stand out as being a fake case : the packaging is fraught with spelling mistakes!!!, the back cover is literally just a piece of flimsy rubber (I think the genuine Black Ops case has a hard back cover so I opted to stick a fake Attack Back plate on instead, which incidentally, looks 100% genuine!!) & the case itself is actually missing the words 'Element Case' along the side.

All in all, I am happy with it however. I cannot justify paying over 100 English pounds for a genuine one from Element so paying around 30 for a replica suits me fine! Time will tell how the black colour will hold out though - I am guessing it is going to be prone to scratches and scuffs with the underneath natural colour of the metal eventually showing through!!

Looks exactly like mine just different backing. I took mine off after a day use cause I notice it scratch the chamfer edges but only noticeable in direct sunlight
 
Well there are Chinese Manufacturers and or distributers that provide good cases for 1/3 the price of Case2case.
 
So I want to get a sector 5 from caseswill but I'm scared it won't reach here until July 1st cause I'm going turkey so please tell me how long it took for you (I Live in Australia)
 
Hello everyone this is my first post here lol. Anyway after reading most of the thread I ordered a replica case from ali express. Shipping to NY was pretty quick and I've been pretty satisfied with the case thus far. I chose not to use the suede back piece provided because of earlier comments so I went ahead an order an ultrasuede back piece from element case itself. The fit isn't exactly perfect on the replica case. About two of the edges kind of stick out and while it isn't much it does bother. Idk if I should leave it on or take it off completely. I was thinking of ordering a hardcover case from element but IDK if I would have the same issue. Any ideas? Either way I recommend ordering the sector 5. I ordered it from one of the links posted on this thread and if anyone is interested I will gladly repost the link to the ali express seller I ordered from.
 
So after drooling over all the cases on here for a while I finally ordered my knockoff from Amazon of all places. The listing refrains from saying Sector 5 exclusively so that Amazon wont remove it I guess, but after receiving it I can confirm that this is a knockoff of the element case with box, included carrying case, and all.

So far I am liking the quality. I put the case on without the rash guards at first and it felt fairly loose, so I installed the rash guards and put the case back on and it now fits much better.

It was $13.68 plus around $2.50 shipping so a steal IMO.

I ordered one from caseswill and after 30 days tracking showed it was still in China, so I got one off ebay. The ebay one came in 2 days and fit great (for 10 bucks more vs caseswill). The caseswill one is off color (yellowish sliver), and doesn't have any felt strips inside. Both have slightly different hole patterns.

i think its just hit or miss either way. there seems to be so many out there that you never know which you'll get. both boxes seem very similar on the outside

neither back plates fit exactly, and i didnt like them anyway, so i'm just running a bare back with a clear protector

The item description didn't say it was knock off and they were using a stock picture.

As I work for the big fruit, I was not a happy customer.

The seller lost his 100% feedback due to finally being caught selling a knock off.

It didn't even look like the original; different colors, etc.

I have pictures if anyone is interested.

I paid $55.00 for mine.

I just bought one off eBay for $15 and I'm not going to lie it's almost as legit as it can be. I compared it with my buddies sector 5 case and everything his came with the only difference that we can tell is that on the side of my case it says element case but his says sector 5cf.

I refuse to pay Element prices. I have worked with aluminum and custom CnC work and know the ballpark price it takes to design, program, cut, refine, cut aluminum and their prices are nuts. I know CnCing the wood and carbon fiber they use shouldn't be that much more difficult but I can't speak intelligently as I've never cut any of those materials (delrin but that's all).
I've been happy with all the fakes I've bought, had to massage a few to get them to look 100% but I'll take $20 over $150 any day.
 
I purchased one on ebay as well and am waiting for mine to arrive. But i am curious. I saw in one of the other threads the original case has some soft materials inside the bumper for protection and was wondering if the knock offs have the same detail as the original ones.
