naw its not all cases.

i ordered two comp cases. one was for me and the other was for my wife.

mine was fine. screws were loose and came right out and case installed perfect. It was her case that had the problem. so i wouldn't worry.

EDIT: Where di you get it? Caseswill seems to have the COMP in the matte only and the PRO in the glossy only. The glossy PRO was the one I was actually considering.

I have a Deff Cleave from casseswill that came with one screw too tight to get out and the head stripped. I just gave up on it for now and make sure that I don't tighten the screws very tight. It seems that the caseswill screws and drivers are not very good. I wonder if the real thing has better one (I would hope so for the price difference!)?

i got them from caseswill, and its gloss white, the backings i bought are the originals from element case.

the screws? didn't strip for mine, but yeah the quality of the driver is... meh

The plastic portions of all of the Element designs should have their holes large enough that the screws don't thread into them. The only holes that should be tapped should be in the aluminum.
 
stripped screws

Thanks for that tip Hell, I will look at it more closely, then it would appear my screw holes were a tad small as the screws are spinning in them, how the hell can I get them out without damaging anything?

Hey... would you mind posting more photos of your Vapor Comp Red edition from caseswill.com? I'm interested in getting one as well... debating between the red and the patriot...

also does anyone know if caseswill or any other sellers offer the red/black combo for the vapor comps, down to the red power button?

they actually just got back to me. they offered to send me a new one for half the price, and said i could keep the defective one i have. I'm ok with that.
 
For those still wondering what the Caseswill Royal Purple looks like, here are the pictures of it straight from Caseswill. I questioned the color before I bought it. Also, Caseswill has awesome customer service. I emailed their service department and had an open conversation throughout the day, in which the service person sent me pictures she took at her desk of the royal purple. Hope this helps some.

Also, when looking at this from an iphone the purple looks closer to the Real Vapor Pro, however, looking at it on my laptop it looks more magenta.

How do you get ahold of them? I haven't received any email other than my receipt from
PayPal.

You may need to get one of those screw removal kits that Billy Mays was hawking.

Or, pull outward as you're trying to loosen them. That may work. Good luck.

I owned both the real and Caseswill Purple. The Caseswill one is fushia compared to the real one.
 
I just realized my red comp from caseswill has that bowing with the plastic part. I don't really mind though cuz you can't tell at all and plus it wasn't 150.00 big ones!!..lol...Im gonna order a few more :D...Cant help myself!

I went with option 1, since it was free...but it has been about five days now and haven't received any emails aside from the confirmation from paypal, a little worried about it. But I have heard that this method ships around 10-20 days.

like 1 mate here mentioned, slightly twist the top n bottom of the plastic part outwards. i did tat n used some blu-tack to hold it straight.
 
Ordered a black Comp from caseswill on Sunday night, chose $4 shipping just for the tracking code I guess. This is what it says on USPS:

and how's the quality of the black Comp from caseswill? either way, it seems like a potentially great looking case for $18.
