Fake Vapor Pro Reviews

Guys, these look really cool...I did a search but beyond some general discussion couldn't really get a clear consensus - do these aluminum cases hurt your signal? I have an iphone 4...love the look of these, but I'm personally not willing to sacrifice performance/reception for it. Thanks for your insight/experience!

I think no matter what, they'll affect your signal. To what degree depends on how strong your area's coverage is.

Pittsburgh's coverage isn't bad, and a Vapor Pro was alright. It did affect GPS for the purpose of turn-by-turn for me.

That same case barely affects my 4S (however I attribute this to the 4S's better antenna.) It does affect my WiFi, but the Comp does less so. But that's just me; we have weak WiFi in our office.

GPS is fine with both a Pro and a Comp for me, unless the signal gets weak.

Thanks for the tips. I live in NY so coverage is generally pretty good, though my signal in my apartment in Brooklyn can be spotty. I think I am probably going to pass on this case - I know if I even lose one bar, it will bother me enough to not use it (even if the phone is still usable, it'll just bug me lol).

Do you have an AT&T 4 or Verizon/Sprint? I have heard that some things will affect the GSM 4s more than the CDMA ones, and yeah my parents both have 4S on Verizon and they always have to seem more bars than me so I can vouch for that

lol, I guess I really ought to start mentioning that in my posts. I've been on AT&T since my iPhone 3G.

I mentioned in a previous post that the Vapor Pro (real and bootleg) did interfere noticeably with signal and especially GPS on my AT&T iPhone 4. The Pros don't really affect my 4S all that much.

I suspect that it might be a similar situation with the Verizon 4, since the antenna layout is the same. However I don't know if that phone does the fancy antenna "switching" like the 4S does.
 
Ordered the White Vapor Pro from Casewill on 4/12 and it arrived in NYC on 4/17. I should have it in my hands very soon. I'm in Texas yeehaw! No 3 week wait like what others reported here. =)

3 week waits were for free shipping. People that paid typically get it in a week or so.
 
Anyone who's ordered from Caseswill and got the standard shipping. How long did it take to get out of china? Mine has been sitting there for 5 days now.

5 calendar or 5 business days? I think it took a few business days for it to arrive in Cali then it sat for like 3 more biz days in customs and then 1-2 business days to deliver to me. IIRC, it took 8 business days to get to me from the day I ordered.
 
I ordered mine on April 3, got tracking info on April 7, shipped out of hong kong on April 12, arrived in new York April 13, and have gotten no new info since. Tracking still shows it sitting in new york. Paid the extra for hong kong post shipping. Any Ideas on how long it will sit in new York?

Mine did the same thing. I emailed asking them, and the said woops sorry, they must have missed my order.

I did the $2.50 Hongkong Post shipping. Come on, it was only $2.50, it's pretty much free. Did you assume that I got it shipped via DHL just b/c my stuff didnt take 3 weeks? LOL.

My last case arrived even though still said NY
 
ordered from Caseswill April 7, shipping to North Carolina...hmmm anybody have experience similar to this?

I ordered the white/black one almost two weeks ago (see my posts, I'm a little frantic on shipping since I'm only gonna be home for this weekend until mid may and I want my case now :p )

but hopefully I will have it soon and I will let you know with pics!!

I have the glossy all black r8 from them and it's absolutely perfect. Fit is flawless, it's very tight, zero movement when installed on my phone. You cannot see any of the bezel when it's installed. If I could give it an A++ rating, I would.
