so i've been using my KO Vapor Comp for a few days now and here are my observations:
1) there is some vertical movement w/ my phone in the case, i don't know if i improperly installed it, but i can push my phone up and down within the case just a bit
2) the poly-carbonate side gets scratched up VERY easily
3) yes, the poly carb side bows out a bit, i don't know how you guys are playing with the padding to remedy this
4) some L-shaped headphone cords still won't fit
5) my Monster cable RF adapter for my car, still won't fit
6) i don't really think this is a "glass-down" kind of case, it doesn't seem to have that much of a "bumper" for the screen
7) the edges where the poly carb meet the aluminum could be finished better
i have compared this to my Magpul Field Case, and my Otter Box. they're all different cases for different purposes. This one of course as the best style, the Otter Box offered the best protection, and the Magpul had to be a great compromise of size, grip-ability, and protection. i would definitely not pay $110 for a real Vapor case. @ $13, i would say it's ok, but my Magpul case was only $9 and i feel like it's better in my hand and i can lay it face down, and i can drop it and not really worry too much.
the buttons on this Vapor case do feel good though. clicking the on/off and the volume up/down buttons is great, i would say way better than an Otterbox.
one last tidbit, there is basically NO difference in shipping from Caseswill. just choose the free-shipping option. i have my shipment that i paid for via Hong Kong post coming in today, a day behind my free-shipping order. they were ordered a day a part, so this makes sense. unless you REALLY want it and need EMS shipping, i say wait the week and a half or so and go with the free shipping.
