Wonder if you could just strip off all of the paint and go with the bare aluminum? That would be pretty cool too.

1. He DOES NOT need reviewers. what's he's doing is basically getting chinese manufacturers to copy and make an already known product. He's not coming up with some new unknown design

2. People are already ordering from several "unknown" (relatively speaking of course) vendors in droves from the looks of this thread. So the demand is there, mostly because since the pricing is so cheap compared to the original.

3. Combine #1 and #2, and all he needs to do is says he has the product (Vapor X), ships here from the states at $25ish and that's all he needs to do. People will buy it instantly once 1 person takes the plunge to try it out.

So, frankly...no, in this case it's not standard practice when you're just copying another product. He should have enough sense to QA what he's having manufactured since he suggested he already has some real Vapors. He's just wasting money giving it out to people. I mean, really...what can they say. "it's almost like the real thing!"

Wrong. What you failed to point out is that he is using his own manufacturer connections in China. Whether or not those connections produce these knock-offs already is in question. All of these from aliexpress and dhgate come from the same place as evidenced by this thread. Even the sellers themselves are saying that they have to look at the new "batch" further evidencing that they are coming from the same origin.

If hasan does have a unique manufacturer, it would benefit him to have people review the quality. His own sense of quality is irrelevant. Do you trust car salesmen when they tell you a car is excellent quality? It's a little tougher to believe the sales person even though they could be very credible than to believe a group of your peers.

Again, hasan benefits from reviewers of his product. Again, this is standard practice knock-off or not. If you have an agenda against knock-offs, then you are in the wrong thread.

What's your definition of quality? Paint chipping is the only problem so the whole case isn't quality? Maybe it fits a little loose because the stock rubber pads aren't thick enough? Is that bad quality?

These cases are $20. All of the problems I'm seeing here are very minor. All are easily fixable. From the majority of accounts here, the actual case is good quality for the money. I'm talking about the aluminum and general construction.

By the way, there have been more than enough posts here warning you of the quality of the white's paint.

you are gonna open a dispute before the seller can offer resolution? douchbag move 100% not to mention a dispute on a fake knock off product?

I just ordered the DNA case over the weekend and am just about to bite the bullet on a white vapor pro and a black ops case for my white iphone 4s. Why do I want three cases!?

I got a Black Ops case from the same seller and its very loose. The loose fit is not from a lack of foam inserts or becuase they are "faulty" the case just wasnt made properly. Mine is almost 0.5mm larger on the RF insert side which results in the loose fit. You can add some felt in as I did, but it started to bug me because as the felt compresses, it becomes loose again. Needless to say, I went back to my Apple Bumper case!

For others, I would avoid buying Black Ops now....not looking good.

Not a big fan of the Black Ops.

Really liking the Cleave since it is a little bit different... wondering if anyone had any experience with it fitting the 4S.

Willing to settle with the Vapor Pro though.
 
Just received my all black vapor pro. I like it but I love my plain and simple $10 black hard rubber case. I'm going to sell my vapor pro case for what I paid for it ($35) plus shipping. PM me if your interested.

I don't think so...I rec'd mine in 10 days using their free shipping. I've heard that is takes 7 days using DHL...not worth the $20 IMO.
 
Just received my white one and it is horrible. The paint was chipped, fitment sucks, doesn't even align right with its own case the screw wholes are off so where the white meets the plastic it sticks out to one side a lot more. Theres bumps on the paint, theres even parts where the metal isn't cut smooth and theres metal pieces jolting out. Im opening a dispute and going to try to get my money back. I even paid 35 for it expecting better quality instead of the $25 ones people are paying from other people and getting way better ones.

i tried the cleave, it reduced my signal and wifi reception. it was also too slippery for me...i promptly returned it to the seller, good thing he was in the same state so made for a prompt refund.

dont open a dispute yet....at least contact the seller to try and resolve the issues.

They are usually extremely good with communication.

could you post some pics of the case?
 
Dang... ya i would like to see pics of it too. I ended up ordering a Cleave (black) and a Vapor pro (gray) from one company that had great reviews.

You didnt like the Cleave??? Did it fit the 4S?
 
pics. Its really hard to see the bumps and the chips. But the first 2 and the last 1 show the alignment is off and how jagged the edges are. If u click the last one and zoom in you can see it better.

disputes already open and trust me those pictures don't do it justice. The paint is horrible you can see grey on the edges around the whole thing.
 
yea that fit is awful.....hmm they should check these things before shipping really.
