the e13ctron case I ordered from Jacky Lin took 2 days to get shipped after ordering and only 7.5 days to reach my place in East Texas after that. I think Hong Kong post must be faster than China Post. I ordered again from him and chose the Hong Kong air, but I have some backplates I ordered from cnn.cn coming in and I believe it's shipping with China Post.

cnn.cn shipped monday and Jacky shipped Thursday so I'll report back when each gets to me

i DO NOT recommend buying anything from simon. originally when i asked him about the quality of the white vapor pros he said they were really good quality so i ordered from him. when i received them and told him that the quality and fitment was no good he responded with "yeah the quality on the white ones aren't so good"

to me, that's very shady. when he's making the sale he's saying anything just to make the sale. he also offered very poor resolutions which included refunding me $5. very disappointed.

with the amount of sellers out there i would definitely not risk it with simon. although his partner cindy seems to be nice they are the same company and simon has the final say.

It's been discussed here a million times that the white ones weren't good quality. That being said, it sucks that Simon told you they were fine, proceeded to sell you one, then only admitted a problem when confronted.

$5 was offered back because that's approximately the profit these sellers are making on each case. This is what I was offered for the bad fit on my e13ctron, but I said Id rather just get a new case that fits. My seller (Jacky Lin) had no problem offering me a different case free of charge. See if you can get another case instead

i actually ordered before the storm of bad white cases so i didn't know :(

i already asked him about another case and he wouldn't budge. i just filed a dispute over aliexpress and got a refund.

At least you got your money back. I guess I'm glad Simon never got back to me when I wanted to order from him

I asked Simon about the quality of his white cases and he told me that he had a "New Batch" that was very good 2 weeks ago. I told him to make sure and pick a good one out and send it on. I ordered with free shipping and received it in Virginia in 12 days. It was junk as I expected it would be. I told him about it, and he said he was loosing money and I could keep it for $10 or return it for a full refund. He said somebody didn't pack a good one. I returned it the next day, cost me $6 bucks. No big deal here, as I have enough cases, just a heads up.

Do you happen to have a picture of it? The extension that was included does not fit either. I'm wondering if I got the earlier W3 with a different jack.

See, perfect fit, the hole in the case is about ~1mm in radius larger than the radius of the plug, no issues plugging it in, no interference :)

My Black Ops case from Jacky Nie is in New York according to the tracking # ...I imagine I'll have it sometime next week. I'll be sure to post pics and a review once I get it.

Do not buy from:

DEBAYS INT'L BUSINESS (HK) CO LTD

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/105...n-case-for-iPhone-4-for-iPhone-4S-IP-607.html

After having tried to resolve the issue of being sent the wrong style case, the seller tried to tell me it was my fault! I had numerous conversations beforehand to ensure the correct style case was going to be sent to me (longer plastic insert), however they shipped me one with a shorter plastic insert because 'most people like shorter plastic insert'.

They are quick to place the blame on someone else in the business, so it appears that they dont really care about anyone else apart from themselves.

I originally had the conversation with Dico (one of the sellers), he confirmed everything in terms of the correct case being sent. He then had one of the 'newbies' to send a paypal invoice to me, and the newbie even confirmed to me that the case was exactly the same, just the colour was different.

This is the same seller that sold me the red/silver case, which i was VERY impressed with.

If i file a dispute through paypal, will i have to pay shipping costs?

After reading hundreds of posts on the various aluminum cases, and whether or not they interfere with the phones signal, I came to the conclusion that there was no conclusion. For every post that said there was no signal degradation, there was one that said just the opposite. Since I love the look of some of these cases, I really wanted to try one but not for the price they were asking. Spending $60 to $150 on something that was gonna hinder the performance of my phone wasn't an option. Then I found this thread and the cheaper alternative for one of these cases. I figured for these prices, I've got nothing to lose. If the quality isn't quite up to par or it kills my signal, oh well, lesson learned, no biggie. After all, it's ONLY TWENTY FIVE BUCKS, not 100. Now I read about people being mad because theirs has the shorter plastic piece or other issues. What did you really expect? You're dealing with someone half way around the world and paying a fraction of the cost of a real one.
Mine hasn't shown up yet. When it does, if it's not all I think it should be, oh well, it was ONLY $25, not $150. I'm certainly not going to try to file a dispute with somebody on the other side of the world and ship it back. Kinda silly to me. But that's just me.

I do agree, and i have absolutely no qualms with the quality of the case, its really good. It was just the fact of being told one thing and getting another delivered.

I am not going to file a dispute, but i was threatening it when i was talking to the seller just to see how far it could go.

WHile I agree that these cases are nowhere near the cost of the original, I also agree that when the suppliers are selling them and claiming "good" quality, I expect a case that doesn't have paint chips or obvious flaws.
Sure we are saving $$$ by not buying the real deal, but if you buy a $20 item at your local store and it has obvious flaws and defects, you would return it right?

I am awaiting my 3 cases from Jackie Lin, and will return them if they are junk, just like I would any item I purchase. The fact that they are knockoffs has no bearing on my expectations.

I have dealt with paypal dispute and I didn't like it one bit.

to answer your question, yes, you need to pay shipping costs plus tracking information. If paypal is not able to see it being delivered electronically, then they automatically give the seller the win.

I had a case where I received a $500 broken statue. I opened a dispute because the seller didn't want to offer a refund. I sent it back via UPS with signature. Several weeks later, they saw that the package was sent to another address and rewarded $500 to the seller and I sent the statue back already. After month of escalation, proof of receipt, etc...it was UPS fault system that gave the wrong tracking info...and finally, they rewarded me the $500. It was too stressful...and that's why I do not want to use Paypal for a dispute.

If i file a dispute through paypal, will i have to pay shipping costs?

thanks for the picture, it looks like you have a newer kind of end plug than mine. :( Oh well, I bought an exension that seems to work great.

I agree to some extent. Yes, it's only $25. However, for me, I wouldn't stress out at all in losing out $25. If I can get a better quality replacement, then great...if not, then oh well...

If I had paid $150 for this, then I would be very very disappointed.

If I hold it in my hand, then it feels like a $10-$20 product...seriously.

I can paid $150 for the top of the line wireless router, touchpad tablet, etc.

It it pretty alarming to see that the real case is being charge $150 for one...at least to me :)

There's the difference, "local store". Easy to handle face to face and see the item before buying. Emails and instant messages to the other side of the world over a $25 item, trying to get some resolution, seems like an excercise in futility to me. Face it, we're buying a pig-in-a-poke and all we can go by is other's experiences, which is what I did. But if you don't go into this half expecting some disappointment, I'm afraid you might be disappointed. If you absolutely expect to get what you think you are getting, deal locally (at least your continent) and pay the premium price (although sometimes that ends in disappointment, too).

That's your prerogative. Spend more of your money to ship them back in hopes of getting some of your money back. Meanwhile, depending on your location, over a month has passed since you ordered and the seller receives them back (assuming they do) and your hopes of some kind of refund. Good luck with that.

Just got my Black Ops case today and put it on my iPhone 4s. I had ordered from Jacky Lyn I believe...free shipping. Ordered on 11/1, received on 11/12.

Fit is perfect...not loose at all. Power button works great and doesn't wiggle. packaging of course is great as well. Really impressed.

Signal and GPS seem OK (no change) but I'll have to test longer and in more locations.

I'll post back in a day or so if I find any problems as I have only had the case on a few minutes. So far (first impressions)...WOW!

That's great news! Would love to see some pics. One question...do you have any type of 'wrap' on the antenna? Mine was back-to-front loose, but when I put a BodyGuardz wrap on the antenna, it now fits like a glove. Still dont think I should have had to do that, but I accepted it for the cost.

Here are a few pictures. I didn't do anything to modify the install (no added wrap or felt added). I would have added things if the fit was loose but I ended up not needing to do this.
