I got my Vapor 4 today from DEBAYS on aliexpress.

The case is excellent quality. It comes with 2 extra screws, a carrying case, a screwdriver and a cloth backing to put on the back of the phone. I'm attaching some photos of it.

It fits snugly in the case. There were black rubber pieces already installed inside the case to make it snug.

Unfortunately it doesn't fit great into my hip pouch case so I may not use it but we'll see....

I want to get one of the E13CTRON cases either all metal or hybrid. Any suggestions on which store to get it from?

This case looks good. I'm thinking it would look nice on my black iPhone 4 as well. How did you go about paying? Is the red a 'true red'?

Thanks...

Silver color, long insert, perfect fit on black 4s. Extremely impressed with quality and packaging. I have a hard time believing these aren't from the factory making the real ones. Why go through the trouble of spoofing all the packaging materials?

Good luck to all ordering. Thanks to all the people posting pictures and information and helping me make my order decision.

I hope to see an e13ctron hybrid at "wholesale" pricing soon.P
That's the same color and the same seller I ordered from. Glad to to hear of your good experience. Hope mine is the same.

It's a darker red. Looks good. Paid with a prepaid credit card I got from a rebate.

Well, here's my review on the White Vapor Pro I got from Simon for my iPhone 4S. I was thinking of starting a separate thread for this review, but I know people will flame me for reviewing a knock-off and starting a thread for it. I feel safer in here with you guys :p

Ease of Install: Medium - Tiny screws are always a little difficult to work with. After lining up the screws, it's straight forward from there.

Accessory Compatibily: I had no issues with stock headphones or charger. I don't get all crazy with my headphones like some of you or deal with docks.

Fitment: Very Good

Signal Performance: I'm not going to do the db test. I believe that this test really doesn't mean much. What matters to me is real-world performance rather than a few differences in db numbers. I have no issue with signal loss with 3G+, WiFi, or GPS. Performs just like it used to for me and if there is any loss, I sure can't tell.

Quality: 6/10 - For the price I paid, $21, it is by all means quite nice. However, the paint has a color variance between the two pieces. This difference is hardly noticeable though. I also received the shinier white paint job rather than the duller, spray painted look. The problems with the case involve the details of construction.

On the section where the aluminum meets the plastic, the top tab of the aluminum protrudes out slightly. It is very noticeable if you run your finger over this section and I'm sure it can scratch me if I applied enough pressure. The fitment of the plastic corner is slightly off as well so it does not sit flush. This however is very slightly off. Overall fit is great. My phone does not move around in this case. On the plastic corner, if I press my phone up and down it does slightly move. I won't count this as a problem because it only happens if I try and it's very slight. Also, I can probably alleviate this problem by sanding it down a little. Very easy fix. I initially thought this case felt flimsy, but after installation the case feels solid. It's also very light.

Overall Impression: I'm very pleased with this case. I only gave it a 6 rating because I know some people can't live with the imperfections that I mentioned. I can also tell that the paint will chip easily. I am familiar in this area because I deal with snowboard bindings as well. In my experiences, glossy paint over metal chips easily.

Dealing with Simon was also a pleasure. He was very responsive and courteous. He even asked me if I received it yet a few days ago and apologized that it was taking so long (shipped 10-27, arrived 11-10). That wasn't even his fault and he apologized. Grade A customer service in my book. The problem now is, I want more of these cases haha. By the way, I have Lucky Labs Teksure back and wrap on my iPhone 4S.

i *think* the shorter inserts are designed for the GSM iPhones and the longer for the CDMA. I believe it is something to do with the antenna's location in each device, it was higher in the CDMA iPhone so the insert was extended to cater for this.

I think the longer inserts look better if you get the right quality case.

rocking my blue/silver now. Also has the carbon backing from theluckylabs (with blue apple logo) to match the case:

DuDE!!! that looks sweet!!! I went to luckylabs but i cant find the blue apple logo, did you get the logo from someone else?

Well got my white one from Dhgate no paint chips but you can tell the difference in color between two pieces

Sanded a little off of the plastic and added some of the backing and it fits quite nicely now

Waiting on the lucky labs hot pink so I can put this on my wife's white iphone.

I think for my black iPhone is going to be lime green and the silver vapor pro

Here are a couple of pics

Oh yeah Dhgate is like the other store where u pay the store first and when u complete the orde then they pay the seller. Plus is they take PayPal. Just waiting on the silver which is going to be like 15 days from now (should have ordered two from the beginning)

Can you post a link of which seller you used at dhgate? That looks nice.

nice review, and great pics. Simon has also been responsive to me too, not sure why he isn't with others? very nice to deal with.

DuDE!!! that looks sweet!!! I went to luckylabs but i cant find the blue apple logo, did you get the logo from someone else?

thanks! yea it comes with the spectra wraps. you get the side wraps, home button cover and apple logo. I had the blue spectra wraps a while ago but they have since perished from my iPhone 4.

yea it isnt bad! Got bored of the red/silver. No doubt i will change it up again soon.

Slightly off topic, but i went ahead and bought one of these today:

http://us.aliexpress.com/snapshot/103541361.html?isRedirect=false

They look pretty decent and for £10 i thought i would give it a shot....if it proves to be a good case i will create another thread. My only concern is the signal degradation, however it might not be true with the iPhone 4S?

What do you guys think? Do any of you have one? I ordered the silver.

Received my Black Ops from Simon yesterday.

Shipping took about three weeks. Quality and fit are decent, no drop in signal strength in either a 4S or 4. The paint job looks good and matches all around. The only downside was that one of the hex screws was stripped and I had a hard time removing it. I added a red carbon wrap (and black front skin) that I bought on eBay for a couple of bucks.

Overall, I would give it an 8.5/10.

Looks awesome! Which seller did you get it from? Also, did you just stick the red apple logo decal to the suede back plate that came with the Black Ops case?

I've got on of these en route as well :) different seller though.should be here hopefully Wednesday.. I believe I ordered the dark blue/grey color though. I hope I end up liking it. I was torn between that color and the silver, so we'll see how it turns out

Pez you ordered your Blue/Silver from Jacky Lin right? Was it this one or this one? (they may be the same)

nice, when you get it, could you PM me what you think of it? or maybe create a new thread yourself?! cheers. I do like the look of it, looks much cleaner than the vapors.

^^^^One of my friends had issues with the Ebaysz store. He ordered 3 cases and they got the colors all wrong. Then he sent it back, they claimed not to have received it, despite being shown the tracking info as proof. After 2 months of back and forth, AliExpress promised to refund his money. He paid via paypal and as of now AliExpress still has not refunded his money since they no longer deal with Paypal.

if you pay by paypal, then you are paying outside of aliexpress protection. the person must open a case with paypal instead.

with paypal dispute, then you need to use a carrier with tracking information and signature (i believe). With the cost of sending it back with those extra services probably cost about $20 itself..the cost of the case.

nope. This was back when aliexpress accepted paypal. A few months ago. It was through aliexpress escrow via paypal. AliExpress said a refund was on its way, then thye had a falling out with paypal, so they are "trying to work something out" with paypal, all the while holding the money.

Here is the email :
Hi xxxxxxxxxx,

Thanks for your email.

Recently, AliExpress Refund requests relating to PayPal Payments have not been processed promptly. PayPal's interface for refund requests is not available to AliExpress after the termination of cooperation between PayPal and AliExpress.

AliExpress is now working with PayPal, trying to solve this problem for our buyers. If buyers wish to speed up your refund process, we strongly recommend that you initiate the dispute at PayPal. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Refund process for other payment methods should have not been affected.

If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center at http://help.aliexpress.com/ or contact us at anytime.

Sincerely,
AliExpress Customer Service Team

Except they took so long to go through the entire process that paypal dispute is no longer an option.
Moral of the story : pay with a credit card and immediately start a dispute with your CC company, once you know you have a problem. AliExpress is crap when it comes to refund process and actual refunds.

thanks for the info...

yeah, I paid through my credit card. I hate using paypal when you have to use it to dispute something...

I'm impressed by a lot of the posts on this forum and the feedback on the cases...
For the price I'm willing to get a vapor pro to have as an extra cover...The price difference is really incredible, honestly if the official vendor sold the case for $50 then I would buy from them, but I feel that $100 is waay too much...

From some of the names mentioned here to buy as a source, which of these four would you guys recommend and why...I'd really appreciate it thanks...
Safest vendor I would prefer and the most responsive should something not be right...

Here are the links that I found...

It's $150 actually + shipping and tax for some people :) hahaha

Even the $150 authentic one....some people still complain about the quality.
