I just got my blue/silver Vapor Pro that I ordered from Jackie Lin and I must say the quality is...phenomenal! I'm actually a little irritated it's so nice because I just bought a legitimate Vapor Pro Stealth last month that I paid $135 for! Everything from the packaging to the screws to the case itself is extremely nice quality. When I compare it to my authentic case I honestly can't tell a difference. I really wonder if the authentic and fake cases are made in the same factory.

The fitment is excellent. No gaps and the phone is nice and snug. No wonder companies go to China for manufacturing- they sell the same case for 80% less!

would you mind posting some pics? i have wanted a blue/silver one but with a longer plastic insert, wondering if yours has this?

Just got my white pro from Simon. Looks pretty good. No paint chips. I haven't put it on my phone yet as I'm gonna wait until I take hi-res pictures of everything.

There's a corner where the case doesn't sit flush where they meet. The bottom portion is flush but the top portion isn't. This means it's a little thicker than it's supposed to be at that end.

My case is super light and in all honesty feels flimsy. Is the case with authentic vapor pros as well?

By the way, while my paint doesn't look like it's ceramic, it certainly is the shiny type. Not the dull spray painted look that the pictures depict. Not nice as the authentic ceramic one either.

I'll post up a review within the next week with hi-res pics.

I also ordered a white vapor 4 from Daisy Li and have a Black Ops and Cleave on the way from Yoyobase.

Got my case in the mail today from Jacky Lin. Ordered October 31st, chose Hong Kong Post, signed for it, the usual.

First reaction was, "Wow, this is lighter than I thought it would be." It still feels sturdy, though. Second reaction is that the red isn't really red. More of a maroon (seems to be a pattern with most cases). But it does look nice. Third, more of an observation more than reaction, is that the power button has a small defect on it (brushing gone wrong?).

Fit is good in all corners except near the power button. That part can move back and forth a bit. There was some more moving in the other corners but tightening the screws more took those away. How did others fix this? I know it was like 10 pages or so ago. :roll eyes: There's also a small gap in between but I don't know if it's supposed to be like that or not.

Either way, for $25, I'm impressed.

EDIT: Never mind. Just saw the felt pads. Added one to that corner and it's stable.

I'll work on some pics. I think mine has the longer plastic insert. I looked at pics of your red/silver case and it has the same insert, is that the longer one?

no, i wasn't asking why he charges more i was asking why he has two different prices on two separate listings. both listings are his.

are they two different products???

i guess the free market explanation answers this question but what i really want to know is if they are of different quality

^^^attention MAYBEE please answer my question when u get a chance :)

thank u

Hi,

been a long time lurker, first time poster. whats the difference between the short and longer insert? anyone have pics showing the difference? does it affect the signal in any way good or bad?

do all of the element cases that jacky lin sells come with the longer inserts?

i *think* the shorter inserts are designed for the GSM iPhones and the longer for the CDMA. I believe it is something to do with the antenna's location in each device, it was higher in the CDMA iPhone so the insert was extended to cater for this.

I think the longer inserts look better if you get the right quality case.

rocking my blue/silver now. Also has the carbon backing from theluckylabs (with blue apple logo) to match the case:

Wow! this case looks awesome. I'm very tempted to buy one and compare them with a authentic one I've right now. I know this cases are cheap compare with the original one but how durable are this a month after? Any paint chip or fitness.....

Check back in a month and I'll let you know. ;) The non-white cases (to the best of my knowledge) are not painted. It's anodized aluminum so it would basically be the same wear and tear as a MacBook... I think.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

I wonder if element are planning on releasing a vapor case without the plastic insert now that the antenna has been fixed. Would like to see aluminium all the way around the antenna.

Well got my white one from Dhgate no paint chips but you can tell the difference in color between two pieces

Sanded a little off of the plastic and added some of the backing and it fits quite nicely now

Waiting on the lucky labs hot pink so I can put this on my wife's white iphone.

I think for my black iPhone is going to be lime green and the silver vapor pro

Here are a couple of pics

these are anodized like the real thing :) therefore, it's the same quality :) I wouldn't be surprised the real thing was made in China and shipped to the USA...companies today want to maximize profit and allowing China to produce them will favor them :) Who knows for sure exactly where it was made :) And remember, all our iphone is made in China...superb quality I must say :)

congratulation....it looks good.

I agree...$25 is worth it.

I got my Vapor 4 today from DEBAYS on aliexpress.

The case is excellent quality. It comes with 2 extra screws, a carrying case, a screwdriver and a cloth backing to put on the back of the phone. I'm attaching some photos of it.

It fits snugly in the case. There were black rubber pieces already installed inside the case to make it snug.

Unfortunately it doesn't fit great into my hip pouch case so I may not use it but we'll see....

I want to get one of the E13CTRON cases either all metal or hybrid. Any suggestions on which store to get it from?

did anyone buy a Red/Black combo? Anyone have any thoughts on what the quality of that is like?

not sure if I should get the shorter or longer insert.

I don't think you really have a choice. People are just kind of getting whatever is sent to them. As far as "performance" is concerned...short insert, long insert...they're the same.

Those who have received their cases...

Silver color, long insert, perfect fit on black 4s. Extremely impressed with quality and packaging. I have a hard time believing these aren't from the factory making the real ones. Why go through the trouble of spoofing all the packaging materials?

Good luck to all ordering. Thanks to all the people posting pictures and information and helping me make my order decision.

I hope to see an e13ctron hybrid at "wholesale" pricing soon.
