Why didn't anybody come up with this tweak b4?

Is the creator a genius ?

Or was this tweak hack/idea right In front of us & nobody thought About it

Haha, sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to think of.

By the way, has anyone made a video of an iPhone running at 10x? I'd love to see that.
 
I actually love this app!
I would have paid for it no problem.
I've shown about five friends with iPhones
and they are all amazed at the speed.
Really, Really well done!!!
 
Found my first app glitch with this tweak.
iMovie editing video playback doesn't go hand in hand with the trim bar at the bottom with this tweak.
But all that is needed is to put the speed back to 1.0x and then do your editing.
 
Great app, I love it.

It does make me think, does Apple intentionally slow down animations on older devices to make them feel just a little bit long in the tooth in order to boost sales of newer devices?

It probably wouldn't need to be a case of slowing old devices down per se, but if animation speeds are defined by the clock speed of the CPU, older devices with slower CPUs will obviously take longer to complete say 10 cycles compared to new devices running at a faster clock speed.

How would you access the plist without jailbreaking?

She needs to be seriously attractive, not older than (your age/2)+7 and you need to be seriously affluent. Quite simple really

Yeah, me too. Funny, the more useful apps are free but the paid apps seem to be the crap apps a lot of time.
 
I have been using this since the start of the thread at 2.5x, I tried normal speed(1.0x) and the phone feels soooo sluggish.
 
The funny thing is that since now I'm accustom to the speed of my phone, it some time seems like is slow to me. At that times I just pick up my wife's stock iP4, so I can be reminded of the difference in speed.

I posted a request for this like 6 times in the last 3 years. Everyone said it was impossible. Guess not, Eh
 
i've been using this with 1.6x for a couple weeks.. and i decided to remove it for the heck of it and wow what a difference haha.. immediately switched back
 
I just tried this tweak today... wow it make such a huge difference. Now I doubt I can ever got back to the stock fw.
 
I purchased an iPad last week and thought something was wrong with it because it was so slow. I did a jailbreak on it and downloaded this tweak and now it is running fast like my phone.
Now I don't know what I am going to do when the ip5 comes out and a jailbreak hasn't come out yet. I don't think I can go back. :p

Am I imagining things, or, does installing (since removed) iFile seem to slow down the tweak? I had it on 2.0 for the longest time because anything faster seemed too fast for me.

I installed iFile to change an app icon and then I *THOUGHT* I noticed it slowed down, so I uninstalled iFile.

Now I'm at 3.3 and it seems to be the same speed 2.0 used to be. Maybe I'm losing my mind.

On another note, I uninstalled the hack just to test my phone, and I seriously can't believe how SLOW the phone is afterwards. I don't think I'll ever want to go back, so I hope this hack is updated to work on later iOS versions or I might cry.

I have iFile installed and haven't had the problem that you describe.
