Family Guy has been hit or miss the last couple of seasons...but tonight's episode was pretty funny. I liked Lois' comment about Brian meeting his girlfriend at a MENSA meeting :)

One of my favourite bits from Family Guy...Season 4

Lois *bends over*: OH GOD! Peter, HIT ME!
*Brian spanks her* YEA!!!

Its been awhile since there was a new episode. About time we got new content.

plus the driver of one of those cars was a virgin who's hymen broke so you've got a rape charge too

We have seemed to have forgotten this thread, tonight's episode was a good one.

Dumpster prom baby was way, way over the line. But I still laughed.

I also really liked the Top Gun reference. And all the Asian girls let out from Quagmire's place. "Don't worry, they're tagged."

Forgive me for bringing back this thread but the Star Wars season premiere is classic.:p

Instant classic! Funniest Family Guy I've seen in a long time (of course I did stop watching it last year). I love the Doctor Who bit, among everything else... :D
My roommate had to tell me that was Dr. Who. I suck at Pop Culture. :)

When Meg popped up in the Star Wars part, I about died. Man, they hate her. heheheheh

Season 5 was just released on DVD last week. Anybody else get it?

I nearly wet myself laughing when a flashback sequence had Dick Cheney working as a Walmart greeter repeating "#$&* You!" as the customers walked in. On these disks they don't bleep out the swearing.

That was the only thing I didn't quite get. Luckily, my father was watching with me as I switched between this and the Cowboys game (woot! take that Bears!). It was very weird, for once we were agreeing about stuff in football AND we were laughing at Family Guy.

OMFG i cannot believe i missed this. does fox.com ever show full episodes? its not on itunes. where can i see it!?!?! doh!

Adult Swim on Cartoon Network on Sunday nights usually reruns it a couple of weeks later. I don't know what they're going to do with this one though. I'm sure someone will rerun it eventually.

Was a good episode. My favorite part being the Robot Chicken exchange. I hear sometime later in the season they're going to mention the South Park thing too.

I think it's pretty much MacRumors tradition for this thread to be revived every time a new season starts up!

The Star Wars thing was pretty funny...I mean it was okay. It had it's moments. I enjoyed the part at the end where they were making fun of Robot Chicken. I wonder how many people actually know that's Seth Green's show.

Please dear God kill the old Pedophile man, Herbert I think.

His voice is so annoying as is the humor they attribute to the character every time he shows up.

it was funny for about 2 eps, but they are really pushing that guy and like the vaudeville guys, KILL HIM OFF!

The song n dance number during the last ep, omfg, just die already.

Yes, agreed...that character is really getting old and overused. In fact the use of song in general on that show is getting old and overused -- that bit, the bit with Herbert and Chris with the Little Shop of Horrors song, that dance bit with Stewie and Gene Kelly, and Peter's song/dance with the New England Patriots. Enough!!

Here is some good news.
SUNDAY NIGHT TURNED INTO THE big night for young men and TV--but before you blurt out "football game," think "Family Guy."
Against NBC's "Sunday Night Football"--and a strong match-up featuring the Dallas Cowboys-Chicago Bears--Fox's "Family Guy" earned a surprising best rating since returning to the network over two-and-a-half years ago: a preliminary 5.5 rating/13 share among 18-49 viewers.
