Sorry if there's another thread about this but I couldn't find it. I've been drinking Yuengling Lager for a very long time. Occasionally I'll get Blue Moon if I have an extra 10 bucks, but just recently I re-discovered Sam Adams Boston Lager, oh my god, it's amazing. I think my 2 favorite drinks right now are Sam Adams and non beer Coke & rum. So what are your favorite drinks?

Schneider Hefe Weitzen -not Dunkel. Sometimes available at World Markets in the back with many foreign biers.

Also Chimay-blue or red.

I love Honey Moon during the summer - a nice change from Natural Light and not too sweet.

For liquor a nice Mount Gay and tonic for relaxed-moderate drinking or Jagerbombs when ***** gets real.

Finnish Karhu (means bear in English) beer is my favorite. Hard to say which is best spirit as I try to avoid them but maybe Suomi Viina or Koskenkorva. I know these mean nothing to you but :p

In this order:

  1. Macallan 12 or 15 year
  2. Balvenie 15 year
  3. Bombay Sapphire
  4. Oronoco
  5. Jagermeister

Other than this, all are almost equal; with the exception of Stella Artois, Guinness Draught, & Spaten, which are the best beers you can buy.

I like Grey Goose and Shmirnov vodkas, and Caesars. For beers, my favourites are Guinness, Stella Artois and Budweiser Budvar (AKA Czechvar here in North America), quite a varied beer preference I know. :)

Most of the time my go-to beer is Newcastle. But, during the heat of summer, nothing beats a hard cider. I prefer Hornsby's, but will try both apple as well as pretty much any other fruit. In the winter, when I need a meal, Guiness servers me well. Most styles have their place, although I dumped a "chocolate oatmeal stout". I just wasn't in the mood for burned coffee tasting beer. I also can't take most of the cinnamon infused winter selections from Sam Adams. Cinnamon should not be fermented.

Red Stripe.

Great beer.

I have really enjoyed these two lately. kirin ichiban and sapporo.

Mentioned above was Stella Artois. I had that for the first time last week and it was excellent. Spaten. Let me tell you. Spaten is my ALL TIME favorite beer!

Michelob Ultra
Coors Light
Heineken
Sam Adams Boston Lager, Boston Ale, Scotch Ale, OctoberFest, & Winter Lager
Captain Morgan spiced rum
Soju (a Korean rice liquor)
Jagermeister (only for bombing in beer, root beer, or Dr. Pepper)

Vodka is good too, but after that one time, I can't even handle the smell if I got to drink it.

Paulaner Hefeweizen is one of my absolute favourites. Franziskaner is great as well.
As for hard liquor, I really only drink Gin and Jägermeister…

I like an HDR vodka on the rocks (Hood River distilled and charcoal filtered in Oregon) with a Schmidt chaser (good old animal beer) in larger quantities for simple cheaper tastes, I like drinking the occasional six pack of Yeunling Black and Tan (which I cannot get out west), I can never get enough Henry Weinhards Blue Boar Pale (it ****ing sucks that I cannot find it this far east), and an extensive list of wines. there is also another alcohol thread elsewhere in the rumors community which I have commented on other beers lagers and what not that I have sampled, but I'm a lil bit too buzzed to remember exactly where at the moment.
