I love cider. I think it's great on a hot day to sit down and enjoy an ice cold glass of Olde English cider. I guess over the years my taste buds will change and my tolerance for beer will be better. I might even enjoy it, as you now do. One can hope :D

Cider is another great beverage, pretty much any brand other than woodchuck. Harpoon makes a really nice one, also a local brand I really like, Doc's Draft from Warwick Valley winery.

It is Campari for me. With orange juice and lot of ice.

Yay! I'm not alone!

As I mentioned earlier, my fave Campari recipe is the Negroni: equal parts Campari, sweet vermouth (i prefer Cinzano Rosso, but Martini & Rossi will do in a pinch) and gin.

I have tried your style before one evening when I discovered I was out of Cinzano. Very refreshing, and probably the easiest way for a Campari neophyte to experience its complexity.

I usually stay with the hoppier beers, a few of my favorities are:

  1. Bear Republic Racer 5
  2. Victory Hop Devil
  3. Ska Modus Hoperandi

In the winter I'll move to porters/stouts:

  1. Victory Storm King Stout
  2. Stone Smoked Porter
  3. Southern Star Buried Hatched Stout

(Belgium) Stella Artois - Beer
(Polish) Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka with Apple Juice
(Spanish) Torres - Gran Sangre De Toro, Red Wine
(Scottish) 18 year old Macallan single malt whisky

It was Corona but since being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease I can't drink any beer other than gluten free stuff.....which tastes like crap! :(

So now it's Famous Grouse whisky and Chardonnay (not together obviously....although.....hmmm).

Yeah, it usually hits stores in August, though I don't remember it being this early. I love Octoberfest, and I usually end up hoarding some. I need to make a run for some soon.

SA Oktoberfest is my favorite beer from them. Between Oktoberfest and Black Lager I am in heaven when those two roll out in the fall and winter.

Fat Tire is definitely my favorite Beer. If I want something heavy I will go with Mackeson Triple Stout or Murphy's Irish Stout which are both better versions of Guiness.

As far as Liquor goes I usually only drink Bourbon. Woodford Reserve is my favorite.

Overall: Bell's Oberon
Pale/Hoppy: Bell's Two Hearted
Lager/Light: Amstel Light
If there's nothing else *sigh*: Miller, the Champagne of Beers

Yeah, it's my favorite SA brew. I also like the Cream Stout and Honey Porter. The Imperial line is good, especially the Imperial Stout, but it isn't cheap and can be difficult to find.

I forgot about that one..... I also really like the Boston Ale. I haven't been able to track down the Imperial Stout. I think I found my next mission!!

The Imperial is good, but be warned it's uhh...stout. It's about 9% ABV. :) It is very strong in more than just alcohol percentage. It is hard to find, though, so I jumped on it the first time I found some. It's good for a change-up, though.
