I've been really into Ipswich Ale recently...it's been on sale for less than some macro beers for almost a year now, and it's one of the best beers I've had, can't lose!

Other than that I love Harviestoun 'Old Engine Oil' in the winter time, transitioning to some stout in the spring, a good Kölsch in the summer, and Paulaner Hefeweizen in the early fall, a little before pumpkin ale season starts and the darker beer comes back out. :)

I've been starting to brew some of my own, and the idea of trying to start a wee brewery has been dancing in the back of my head...

My favorite beers right now are:
Sierra Nevada: Stout
Great Lakes Brewing Company: Edmund Fitzgerald (Porter)
Dogfish Head: Indian Pale Ale

After drinking Sierra Nevada Stout and other dark beers, I tried Guinness on tap at a bar (I usually drink at home, it's way cheaper and I dont need a designated driver!) and it tastes like water, I was really disappointed.

My go to on tap beer at bars is usually Killians.

For those that don't know...

Dunkal-Weitzen an pbr for beer ya I know huge difference and I do have a Jack tattoo so it have to be good ol' JD but the 1981 Amsterdam gold medal winning JD is my favorite then I'd have to say makers, Knob Creek and Jamison.

I am a whiskey/bourbon/scotch guy all day long and ill take it on the rocks no mixer please.

Just about any Belgian beer. I am partial, however, to fruit-enhanced mead.

I just started reading about this. My beer mag has a section on it and I have never heard of it before. Do you have a recommendation for something that I might be able to find in the states?

Since you like Belgian Beer have you had St. Bernardus Abt 12? Very tasty.....

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

Bold, complex, and so so red.
Campari plus Cinzano Rosso vermouth and an equivalent amount of decent gin = Negroni, my fave mixed drink and an excellent aperitif.
