PEEP SHOW!!! and The Mighty Boosh.

Peep Show owns though, one of the consistently funniest TV shows I've seen...

Agreed with Peep Show but....

The Mighty Bush is crap man! It's not funny at all it is just stupid, the news is more funny than the Mighty Boosh

I'm not so sure how well Are You Being Served will translate, I think it's dated more than the other shows we've talked about...

Actually because it's dated it might do well. I recall thinking how the show would have been considered too much for North America at the time it aired on the BBC.

Oh I don't know… I think the US will still have problems with Mrs Slocombe's *****… ;)

Red Dwarf
Faulty Towers
Monty Python's Flying Circus
My Hero
My Family
As Time Goes By
Are You Being Served?

(plus my parents and I are hooked on Coronation Street, not a comedy, but fun, none the less)

Well yes, it's not outrageously silly as Black Adder or Red Dwarf, but still had it's moments. I was well and truly warped by Red Dwarf after a bunch of University roommates and I watched the first few seasons of Red Dwarf back to back... good fun, but it was hard getting that theme song out of my head! :)

Agreed. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who was addicted to that theme song at one point in time... ;) :D

"It's cold outside..." :D

Actually you've reminded me of one I used to really like;

The New Statesman with Rik Mayall as Alan B'Stard

It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere, I'm all alone, more or less, let me fly, far away from here, fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun.

Jeeves & Wooster

The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. ...
Loved that show! Absolutely brilliant.

- Super!
- Great!

Also surprised no one has mentioned "Jeeves & Wooster." A bit on the dry side but then it is British after all.

If American followers of "House" want to see Hugh Laurie doing some slapstick turns it's certainly worth a look. Hugh Laurie is one of the best things about the later BlackAdder episodes also.
