Doesn't really seem as if his guilt or innocence would be that hard to prove since his actions got a warrant issued for his iCloud data and based on that info, got a warrant issued for the seizure of his phone. What they find will go a long way toward proving whether or not he dumped stock based on privileged info. That probably helps his case. It is hard to say that he was acting on insider information when these third parties were reacting to public information. A lot of people started selling stocks in January, because of the news that was widely available. He may have already been planning on selling the stock before he started getting daily briefings. I think it will be hard to prove he used information from those briefings. None of us know, but I’m sure that won’t stop people from claiming he is innocent or guilty based on political party alone![]()
Just my personal opinion, but I'd bet he confused (like a lot of people) Apple's inability unlock an individual's phone with inability to access cloud data.
