Just a general comment....

As Actors and Actresses sometimes fall into the trap of starting to believe they are, or are like, the characters they play in some way, it seems maybe the US Government is losing sight of the the fact that they work for the people.

This is apparent in their resistance to any will or opinion of the majority that opposes theirs, as well as how they treat foreign countries and our relations with them.

I cannot stress how important it is that the American people find a CONSTRUCTIVE way to remind them they work for us, and knock them down a peg. They are replaceable if they aren't serving the majority.

The FBI wasn't just dumb they materially misrepresented themselves, in the San Bernadino case, when they argued it was only about this one phone, when they knew it was about much more than that. They were disingenuous/dishonest in the extreme when their director said he didn't care about the precedent, when he knew a, that he did and b, that it was irrelevant whether he cared or not, if a precedent was set, a precedent was set.

It troubles me greatly that those charged with protecting our safety feel they can lie with impunity. If you or I lied to the FBI in such a way it might be considered a felony.
You have to understand that law enforcement, including the FBI, are trained to lie. When interviewing and interrogating suspects even just questioning people they are under no obligation to be truthful, nor are they breaking the law when they lie.

You, the one they are questioning, are obligated to tell the truth and are breaking the law if you lie to the police or FBI. Even when they just are asking you questions. This is why you never, ever, answer any questions about anything without your lawyer present. Telling law enforcement officers the truth has convicted people many times. When you discuss anything with law enforcement/FBI, YOU, are always at the disadvantage.

Always envoke your fifth amendment rights.

"I refuse to answer any questions without my lawyer present. This discussion is over."
