Another pointless/needless/costly regulation rolled back. About time!!!

Enjoy this coming to America:

Regulatory capture + legal bribery of politicians (lobbying) = totally corrupt and broken 'democracy'

Bravo America, really bravo. If you are too stupid not to vote for one of two parties then you deserve everything you get. I have no sympathy. I'm actually angry that such a great country has fallen to such disgusting lows.

The 21st century will be one of American decline in the world, I'd rather follow China right now than the US. All because you allow your political system to be corrupted by lobbying. You should be totally ashamed.

Doesn't that strike people as a problem? All of this stuff being done in the executive level that can be repealed by a subsequent administration.

We need congress to get on the ball and create laws that are not as easily rolled back.

Yes- absolutely it's a problem.
Our country is broken when the only way to get things done is this way (on both sides).

Did they really add a provision that States can't make their own rules? And would that really stand in court? I think only Congress would have such authority, not the FCC, and AFAIK there was no vote on it?
I hope States will be able to fight back, I know they are already preparing to take action here in WA.

Of course they did. Republicans are only for "states rights" when its convenient for them, i.e. when it means they can strip civil rights from minorities and give more money to corporations.

Is there a sane person on the planet who believes that the internet doesn't fall under the internstate commerce clause.

...then again, these are the same people (progressives) who argue that intrastate commerce is really interstate commerce...resulting in such fine prohibitions as the prohibition on marijuana.
