Well done - I'm about 150 ahead of you - keep up the great work:)

Thanks ... I started off with a S0 in late 2015, just have to keep going ;);)
I haven't thought about the Move ring count goals relative to how long the watch has been out. If someone picked up a S0 the day it came out and closed their rings every single day since (including today) they will have amassed 1747 days!

I just hope I can someday catch up to Apple releasing those new total Move goals before they release a new batch of higher goals. I am sitting at 681 right now, a long way off of 2,000, but slowly making ground.

And mine is similar, but less ambitious!

I’m so glad to get a easier challenge this month. December and January were too tough to the point I could’ve hurt myself. My challenges are so hard because I walk 10-15 miles 6 days a week climbing hills to deliver mail. That’s the only exercise I get which is good because I also lost 45lbs in a year which I’ve never been able to do.

I’m at 566 days. Hoping I can make it to 2000 some day also.

These long Move streaks are impressive. My longest Move streak is only 79 days.

Pre-Apple Watch, I had a 386-day running streak from April 2014 through April 2015. I had a good reason for starting the streak, but I ultimately decided that it was counterproductive. There was no benefit to a silly 1-mile run the first couple of days after a marathon. (The "official" running streak group has set the streak requirement at a minimum continuous 1-mile run.) I ended up breaking my streak because I hurt my hamstring lifting weights, and it wasn't healing with continuous running.

So when I eventually got an Apple Watch, I was biased against trying to maintain a streak. I have a lot of 30-50 day running streaks, but I usually have a planned interruption here or there, even if I don't have an unplanned day off.

And I do have unplanned days off, which makes multi-year Move streaks very impressive. (I do have a 723-day streak in Duolingo!)

Yeah, Apple lost its mind this month. 2,010 exercise minutes this month. I did 78 so far today, but that's because I ran 3 miles today and I don't do that everyday. 69 minutes a month is crazy.

Apple wants to turn us into batteries man batteries!!!

Then again imagine how fit we'd all be if we needed to generate enough energy for all our own appliances and devices, and lighting in our homes everyday.

Four days in, this challenge is going better than expected. To reach my 3860 minutes excercise goal, by now I’d need to be at 532 minutes, I am actually at 593 minutes. So a little bit ahead. On the coming weekend, I should be able to push it even more. But this is harder for me than burning calories.

I’m flying to the US. On the way back, my flight is LAX-NRT-SIN and it takes 20h and there is 16 hours time difference. 😳😳😳

Is it possible to reduce the calorie number and thus close my ring? I’m at 990 per day and people will think I’m crazy if I walk 2 hours in the plane.

Yes. You can in theory cheat and make the ring 100 cal and close it. Given you're on a plane I think that's acceptable in this circumstance as long as you are making effort where possible :)

Don't forget this is the exercise ring (30min/day), not the move ring.

It should be fine. My return flight is on the 15th. Going to the US is leaving at 8pm in SIN, arriving at 7pm in LAX on the same day. It feels like going back in time.

Actually you are right. I need to close the exercise ring too. I don’t see how that is possible. 🤦‍♂️

Just run an “Other” workout for 30 minutes without doing anything. ;)

I’m kidding of course, where’s the fun in cheating??

Yep, it starts tomorrow everyone!

feel a bit deflated with this one, I don’t have time in the day to walk 7km, and I can’t run it as suffering from some hip bursitis.
