A draft dodging convicted felon.
Felons are a part of this world and a part of society. Why are you felon shaming? It’s bad taste to fat shame, it’s bad taste to shame felons, as well.
A draft dodging convicted felon.
And then Congress will do nothing.I think they Judiciary does need to rein it in, by telling congress that they cannot delegate their duties to another branch of government without a constitutional amendment.
Well, “stayed” or paused is more appropriate, not “overturned.”and overturned by appeal...
at least temporarily...
Congress doing nothing is better than the alternative of them just doing something, anything. And then Congress will do nothing.
Congress went to the store for cigarettes and never came back.
how embarrassing to admit you voted for him...Tim Cook: Move everything to USA just to make iPhone right here?
Trump: Yes and you won't have tariff at all.
Tim Cook: Try moving your Trump Tower in NYC brick by brick, tile by tile and window by window to Florida and assembly it piece by piece from ground up.
Trump: That'd take some years to do it all!
Tim Cook: I rest my case.
I had a choice - a better choice. Never vote for any democrat at ALL.how embarrassing to admit you voted for him...
you arent alone. but honestly, you had a choice. a better choice.
would you vote for again?
the answers arent getting any better....I had a choice - a better choice. Never vote for any democrat at ALL.
Huh! I was right, only took until page 5 (or was it 4?)...I wonder how many pages of comments we'll be in when he changes his mind again and does impose these tariffs... Page 5? 9?
Ive said it before and i will say it again, the guy simply does not care about anyone but himself and will say what ever he has to say to get what he wants out of you (in this case that was your vote) then the moment you served your purpose your completely useless and disposable as a human being to him.
That's actually the exact opposite of how a dictatorship works, but don't let being accurate get in the way of being dramatic.SCOTUS will immediately reverse it. That’s how a dictatorship works.
Which I'd be all for. Because nothing would ever be done. You can't get them to agree on a budget let along figure out each and every rule needed to keep the bureaucracy running.I think they Judiciary does need to rein it in, by telling congress that they cannot delegate their duties to another branch of government without a constitutional amendment.
Won't all phones be subject to the tariff, so they won't get a different brand which is subject to the same tariffs, they'll just not buy a new one at all.No, what would happen is people who show up at the mobile store, see the price and think "f**k that", then leave with another brand.
Shhh... you'll upset people making weird drawings about Mexican food for some reason.I know, right? It’s almost as if the other guy ignored SCOTUS and used taxpayers money to pay off student loans when he was ordered not to. Why have lower or higher courts when nobody listens to what they’re told anyways
Yes! Do people know how many 'emergencies' we are currently under. Almost 50 of them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_emergencies_in_the_United_StatesOne thing I missed when I first looked at this, the President can declare an emergency then do what Trump is doing. If Congress doesn’t like it, they only need a Joint Resolution to kill it.
If it is so bad, why doesn’t Rand Paul drum up some support and do just that?
Our system doesnt work like India’s, the court in question is *literally* called the Court of International Trade because this is their purview, not overreach, and they’re checking actual presidential overreachIn my place they call it as Judiciary Overreach! Judiciary generally do not have any accountabilities(at least in India) and their appointments of Supreme Court judges are fundamentally flawed Engish Collegium system and NO Judge can be prosecuted even if you catch hold them in the 8K 70MM Screen while taking bribes! They have the immunity even the Prime Minister or the President does not have!
Eh, sort of. The appeals court paused the decision of the CIT so they can analyze the root “emergency” declaration Trump is trying to use to justify his violation of Article 1 before changing anything, I have my doubts the ultimate decision is going to go Trump’s way…and the tariffs are back on again, thanks to the appeals court. Unsurprising yet still disappointing.
Where did you get that summary of the student loan things? As best I can tell, SCOTUS ruled the first loan forgiveness plan was an over reach which was proceeded by a different plan. The second plan was to reduce monthly minimum payments + changing the number of payments made before a loan could be discharged (which already existed).I know, right? It’s almost as if the other guy ignored SCOTUS and used taxpayers money to pay off student loans when he was ordered not to.
The can start calling me Commissar, because I hold similar political ideals.Careful, what you're advocating for is seen as radical far-left communism by about a third of the country, who are steeped in Fox News.
The Court said he can't do loan forgiveness for everyone, so he didn't. He narrowed his focus and used existing federal programs to pay off student loans of people who were scammed by fake universities. That was well within his authority, since the Court said nothing about that. Heaven forbid that you should oppose grifters.I know, right? It’s almost as if the other guy ignored SCOTUS and used taxpayers money to pay off student loans when he was ordered not to. Why have lower or higher courts when nobody listens to what they’re told anyways
