Truck probably. It only takes a semi about 12 hours to make the trip, and the cutoff for the day's deliveries getting on the delivery trucks is about 5AM, so there's plenty of time to get from OAK to SoCal.
Same here. Come on South CA. I couldn't find a FDX flight to LA but found a SouthWest Airline flight around the same time. I guess it doesn't matter, hope to see it tomorrow.

Whenever I reach one of those wretched voice menus and I want to get to a human, I usually start out with "I am a meat popsicle!" It usually never works, but it's fun to say.
Yea I hope it comes early tomorrow but fedex never does. My son is graduating kinder tomorrow at 12. I need it before then or after 3 so they said 430 the latest. If it was ups I'd have at 1130.
Edit: driving to oakland is 5 to 6 hours. So I'm sure the semi would take around the same amount of time

When I called and spoke with a Fedex agent, she was able to tell me my phone was in Indy which is a helluva lot closer to where I live (Overland Park, KS) than Anchorage, AK. Also, knowing that, I feel there is a better than 50% chance I will get the frickin' phone tomorrow.
So, yeah, IMHO, I believe the agents know more current info than the tracker page shows.
just called, rep said my package will be here tomorrow despite the online tracker saying Thursday.

I hope it is accurate. FedEx.com says it is still in Newark, NJ though. So I hope it means it left Newark vs it just saying, " It's on the way" and not knowing where it is.

Yeah... Fedex 9168 heavy just departed for Memphis as well. I love this... It combines my love for phones with my love for flying (I'm a pilot)
Mine is in Newark too. Not to worry. Flights don't leave there until later tonight. For example the EWR to IAD flt doesn't take off until 4:00am. It's only an hour flt.
