Meh, I tried all of them but they are crap and boring.
Probably not your genres, but co-op games on AppleTV are awesome, there are some award winning games and most of title are acclaimed. Probably you are interested in AAA games and for sure this is the right service (for now at least), but saying these indie games are crap is completely false.

Actually I have hundreds of indie titles on PC and no, every time i look at apple arcade i find their titles Disney boring. Except the 5% that I already have on PC ofc :)

Back to the topic at hand, is this Alien Isolation port playable with just the touch screen? I've given up on mobile/tablet games long ago because it's impossible to find an actual game in this deluge of free to play crap so I don't own or am willing to invest in peripherals that work with the iPad. I would buy the game if it were actually playable with the touch screen. If they just stuck a virtual joystick pair in there that doesn't make it playable, sorry.

There ARE folks that think games that won’t let them spend money on in-app purchases are crap and boring. So, not a lot for them on Apple Arcade. :)

I would not recommend playing Alien: Isolation on a big screen alone late at night. I don't scare super easily (or so I'd like to think) but this really made me feel vulnerable and freaked out in a way not a lot of media has. So many games let you earn some gun or whatever that lets you do battle with things, but with this game you're defenseless except for whatever improvised defenses you can laboriously "craft." When you're best defense is hiding in a locker, it's horrible.

Apple should either acquire or talk to developer Iron Gate studios to port Valheim over to Mac. It's very low resource footprint makes it ideal. Plus the "gaming engine" they've developed could be used for different types of games such as medieval RPG and the like. If I can stereotype Mac gamers, I think they would love this game plus I think the Valheim game "engine" could be used for many other types of medieval RPG type games.

Overall I think Apple should acquire an AAA developer studio to make AAA games for Apple Silicon just to get the momentum going and proof of concept.

To me, it is. You are only thinking as a mobile game players, not PC/Console. Dont forget, PC/Console's market share is 50%.

There a lot of awesome games on Apple Arcade, even if the majority are indie games. They are FUN. Some are quite high end considering they runs on iPhones, iPads and AppleTV too.
I tried Apple Arcade and couldnt find a single game I liked. They seemed to be full of cutsie, boring games that only my wife would play. Teslas have better games installed for free.

+1
Except Fantasian and Oceanhorn 2 but then it’s only the exception. They need better games to be considered that’s for sure.

Could you name a few? I'd be curious to check them out. I'd love to have a handful of titles that work on M1 that don't suck that could keep me satisfied until more AAA titles are released Natively for M1.

Co-op madness = Crossy Road Castle

Adventure = Beyond a Steel Sky (sequel of Beneath a Steel Sky an old time hit)

Oddmar = platform

Redout: Space Assault, pretty cool space fight

Fantasian = no need to introduce

Other titles I enjoyed playing:
What the Golf, super stupid super funny
Ocean horn 2, a Zelda clone
Shinsekai into the deeps, pretty original
Bradwell conspiracy, first person puzzle game
NBA2K22, pretty solid sport game

Yeah, it’s playable with on screen controls. There are even some interactive touch-screen elements that were developed with mobile in mind.
If you have a PlayStation or Xbox controller they will also work, and even mouse and keyboard.
