At least you have PCM3. Waze on my iPhone5 is light years ahead of the PCM2.1 unit in my 2006. The downside of the iP5 is it's small screen size - which is perfect for a phone but at bit small for dashboard GPS. An LTE-equiped iPad mini might be the perfect upgradable in-car GPS device.

I get a little nauseous when I consider the amount I spent installing a Kenwood 7120 in-dash GPS in my wifes's SUV. What a horrible device it turned out to be.

I 'traded' my Pan with a friend's 997.2S for a few days and found the screen placement to be almost dangerous- I wouldn't bother installing any kind of newer system considering how low it is. While PCM3's touchscreen interface is easier to use than the button laden 2, the screen seemed to be the same low-resolution as the older units so you're not missing out on much.

To be honest I find Google Maps Nav to be as good as the factory PCM3 nav, I just don't want to give up the map/direction display in the instrument cluster. I'd get some sort of windshield mount with a long 'neck' so you can mount an iPad mini about where the air vents are (approx where the screen is on the 991).

This is great news! I also heard theyre planning on expanding their relationship with Rolex, Gucci, Prada, Mclaren and the four season hotels that will now feature Imacs in EVERY 10.000 USD/night suite world wide!

Jesus MF Christ - I can't really understand how reading comprehension on this board has deteriorated so much.

Read the article, fellows. The iPad is mounted on the back of the Frontseat so passengers in the Backseat of the Ferrari FF.

The Ferrari FF is a full-blown family car. Now...just for a second...take a deep breath and be astounded

The Ferrari FF also has a full blown luggage space! *shock*

Seriously...get some reading comprehension before posting guys.
Well written articles with matching pictures typically speak for themselves. This article does indeed need a bit more reading comprehension and more than average knowledge on Ferrari's or some Googling to find out that:
1) the displayed Ferrari is not the 4-seater family car pimped with the iPad's
2) the family car itself, unlike the 'typical' Ferrari, has indeed back seats
3) these backseats leave sufficient room to actually raise your hand and operate a touch screen (after doing my homework, I posted a picture of that earlier)

Hope this addresses the lack of understanding :)

Must be nice.

I'm Torn....

What to do? Should I cancel my order for My La? I mean, I need a Ferrari for the occasional snow we still get in Nebraska. The FF would be the perfect snow Ferrari. Oh whom am I kidding, I'll just get both and a car elevator.

rear passengers in a ferrari !...the only rear passengers should be horses,.. all 500 of them

I personally think computers in cars could be the next big thing in computing. Most computers in cars are pretty bad so it is ripe for someone like Apple to come a long. In a couple of years time I can see cars powered by Apple and Google OSs (possibly MS too if they are still around).

yep, cant think of anything better to take your eyes of the road..go down a treat in saudi...where the road deaths have increased 4 fold due to mobile phones...still not such a bad thing..they cant drive anyway !

Ok, Mr. Internet tough guy. Have you sat in one of these? Did you read the Car and Driver review? Anyone over 6 feet will have an uncomfortable fit.

Jeez get over yourself.

Errr...you are really leaving such a smartass comment as reaction to someone who was commenting on people even not acknowledging the fact, that there are four seats?!?

As mentioned before my choice would rather be the new Rapide S when I'm in the need to buy a new car. I wouldn't touch that Ferrari because I find the front disgusting. So why should I care about the place in the back? Nevertheless it's enough room for plenty of people, e.g. my wife could sit there quite comfortably.

Did you ever ask yourself how 6-feeters feel in nearly every car that is built if it is not built in the SUV class?

If Apple Maps is used on those iPads someone may be driving their new Ferrari off a cliff!! Unfortunately the only thing to survive the crash would probably be the iPad. Oh and when are they coming out with the "Ferrari Docking Station TM"? I coined it first so I get a cut... I would settle for a pair of yellow Ferrari's. Thanks Apple!!

So the FF is disgusting but this:

is okay?

I'm sorry, but the Rapide has gone from one of the prettiest saloons to one of the ugliest with this 'update'. The back seats are still useless and there's barely more space in the boot than a tiny two-door Vantage.
