I'm ready for the Messi/Ronaldo duopoly to become a part of history, and while Argentina are worthy from a performance standpoint, they aren't likeable. Brazil I would be neutral about except that Neymar is a whinger and I don't want him raising the trophy. But then again Mbappe is unlikeable as well - a huge diva and not enough of a team player. I'd be happy with France winning if he pulled a hammy and missed the crucial knockouts.

Proof that FIFA will never let the spirit of the game get in the way of money or ratings. Not that this is likely to change outcomes IMO unless he scores a hat trick or pk.

Belgium should knock us out either way. And there’s zero chance of USA beating Portugal or Spain even if a miracle happened.
