England still is in a prime position to get on 1st place.
They are playing the weakest team and Gana and Croatia will need to fight it out.

England got Queiroz'ed. Though one could argue Ghana deserved a penalty that wasn't given.

Teams and players who can break down a low block are a rare thing in modern football.

The scenes of the Norwegian fans doing their rowing routine in New York City were pretty epic, topped off by their postgame celebration led by Ødegaard's drumbeat. That's why we watch the World Cup despite all the unsavoriness surrounding it, especially this year.

But so it goes, you see it constantly in tournaments. FIFA wants the stars in the tournament as long as possible, and whether deliberately or subconsciously, the refs are not very keen on punishing the stars, much less send them off with a red or something.

And FIFA does not shy away from putting a thumb on the scale for a desired outcome.

I felt Ghana was denied two goal scoring opportunities, one was a free kick just outside the box, and the other a penalty.

England got really lucky with the ref today.
Ref was getting instruction in his ear piece through out the game.

England were awful. Slow and poor.

Wonderful, I ♥️ Norway, and if the Swede's mess it up more, I can always cheer them on inetsad, and row with them.

I always did that in winrersport and skiing - when Bjørgen totally dominated everything.
I told another Swede about that, I was called traitor of our country 😂
I'm not fanatic, that's for sure. How childish people can be.
Sweden and Norway are like sibblings, that love and figth with each other - so much fun.

A bit of lackluster win for Netherlands today. I would liked to keep the nil and see a bit more desire and conviction, but the result is what counts, I guess.

Up next, Morocco. Gonna be a tough one.
