Hi all! Happy Monday!

File Cabinet Pro version 8.1 update has been released!

What’s New?
-Runs natively on M1 Macs.
-Icon view now shows video thumbnails for .mov and .mp4 files.

not sure if you care about my feedback but if you do a similar program but for the clipboard instead of finder that I can view in list view instead of large icons in a window I would buy. There are clipboard managers like iClip and PASTE 2 but the implementation is too much. There is one that is exactly designed and does what I want except it does not support copying images .

There was before but development has stopped called ClipMenu

Happy Monday all! @MacBH928 Thanks for the suggestion.

File Cabinet Pro version 8.4 has been released!

Hi all! Figured I'd swing by to let everyone know about File Cabinet Pro version 8.4.1:

New in this update:
-If File Cabinet Pro's window is open but completely covered by another window, clicking the menu bar icon will bring File Cabinet Pro's window to the front instead of closing the window.
-Note that if File Cabinet Pro's window is open but only partially covered by another window, clicking the menu bar icon will still close File Cabinet Pro's window.

Macrumors forums happy Tuesday!

File Cabinet Pro 8.5.6 is out:

What’s New?

-Brought back the ‘Launch at Login’ feature in File Cabinet Pro settings if you are running macOS 13.0 or later. Due to changes in prior versions of macOS we had to remove this feature but now it is back.

-If you are on a version of macOS prior to 13.0 you can still have File Cabinet Pro launch at login but you must configure it in System Settings.

Dropping by to let everyone know that File Cabinet Pro 8.5.7 update is out today! If you're on macOS Ventura or later and you like making file aliases, you're going to want to update to the latest version.

New in 8.5.7
Fixed an issue that caused the Terminal icon to be inappropriately displayed in alias file icons. Since macOS Ventura the built in Quick Look framework provided by the operating system started creating flawed icons for alias files. File Cabinet Pro now composites the icons for alias files itself to workaround this issue.

File Cabinet Pro 8.6 update is out today with macOS Tahoe support plus lots of improvements.

  • Fixed an issue that caused icon view to sometimes show low quality images after enlarging the zoom value.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused File Cabinet Pro’s window to inappropriately get moved to the front when toggling the visibility of the Dock and/or when switching between Spaces.
  • Fixed an issue that caused icons in icon view to show placeholder images for far too long under certain conditions.
  • The “Sidebar” toolbar item is now included in the default set of items in the toolbar customization palette.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “Go to Folder” window to sometimes get clipped off the right edge of the screen.
  • Changed the image used in the “Arrange by” toolbar item on macOS 11.0 and later.
