I don't have a HD TV yet =]
I'm waiting till OLED comes out and hopefully I can get a nice LCD/Plasma relatively cheap!
Agreed, but if I'm not mistaken this is not the case. Hopefully HD downloads will catch on more than iTunes Plus, which still seems to only be available a minority of all music on the iTMSyes it can be considered a rip-off, unless the downloaded content is HD.
whats the hell is wrong with apple? do they think were made of money????
i mean i am well paid, and i think these prices are crazy expensive.
yes it can be considered a rip-off, unless the downloaded content is HD.

Note the Applesque TV. How about we demand they make it for real. I'd buy one, but it would have to have OS X, multi-touch, blu-ray, solar, nuclear fusion, Wi-Max and a microwave oven built in as standard, and be less than £250.
According to the Times Newspaper the content is NOT HD.
"Significantly, Apple's service will not include HD films, suggesting that studios will still seek to convince owners of new Blu-ray devices, which play HD content, to buy films on disc."
yeah according to the times the apple tv is mac only, which shows how much fact checking they do.
In a time when the cheapest Mac with a screen would cost you £700, people are complaining about a £2.49 film?
Its a fair price. Get over it.
It's not the prices, it's the mediocre films that bothers me.
TV looks a lot like a kuro
Somebody raised a good point about the Broadband Providers too, if you download movies your well on your way to being throttled by your ISP!
TV looks a lot like a kuro
It does, but its not. The base is definitely Apple, not as square as the Pioneer.
