The OP may be more correct than we want to admit. Read this:

Certainly Apple will do all they can to keep producing iPads, and who knows how much inventory of these parts they already have.

But I can't imagine a scenario where the problems in Japan WON'T have some impact on iPad availability. iPads are in short supply (compared to demand) already, and this will only make it worse.

Even with the article, nothing is "confirmed", it's only a possibility.

Furthermore even if the earthquake worsens delays, NOWHERE does it say Apple is shipping for two more weeks and then cutting off the production line/shipments, like the trolling OP promises.
